Quest: Political Corruption on Talus

Cool Factor: You get to be a hire assassin.

Difficulty: Combat skill of 3 or 4

Faction Requirements: None

Location (not exact): Dearic Capital Building, Talus

Talk to Snowline, then Zorn.

Bugginess:  Supposedly you have to do Snowline's Missions to get to Zorn, but you can do either first.

Rewards:  Very little credits, but interesting story.

Quest: Dark Jedi Missions

Cool Factor: Its a dark Jedi....

Difficulty: Endgame combat class or pet. Not nearly as hard as the light jedi quest.  first is a simple destroy. second is a delivery to a dark side initiate, third is an evil surprise and definately the hardest.

Faction Requirements: None

Location (not exact): 200 m away from the light jedi beneath the waterfall

Reward: on the second mission you are given a complete jedi holocron.abort the mission and do it again to keep it or a few dozen of them for your relatives. You can also just kill the dark side iniatiate over and over for crappy loot...lol...i killed him 6 times...1 bowcaster...1 spraystick.

Bugginess: None, except on the second mission the Dark side initiate will agro you, so use /conversationstart

Quest: Baritha inside the nightsister city

Cool Factor: I love nightsisters and i want to be one. She uses mind tricks on you so be careful  Also bringing her imps as "toys" is very funny.

Difficulty: HARD, well hard to reach the mission giver atleast. Sometimes the city is full of nightsisters sometimes its empty. But either way there is always  a nightsister elder guarding Baritha. Sacrifice a pet or a loved one. There are 3 or 4 missions here. Almost all of them are escort. Escort 2 imps and 1 defected nightsister. the one with the defected nightsister is fairly hard unless you do it right.

Faction Requirements: None

Reward: a Handful of Nightsister faction

Location (not exact): Nightsister city 5 kilometers NW of science outpost. close to battlefield ...you can't miss it.

Bugginess: After completing the missions for baritha she tells you to see the the nightsister mother. I assume this can be none other than Gethzerion inside the very cool palace looking building. But alas she has no converse option nor does /conversationstart work. I am so mad, you have no idea. /glare @ Q-3PO

Just outside Mos Entha starport (toward the desert) is a commoner selling trinkets. if you talk to him, he will tell you about a secret Krayt dragon cave.

Coolness factor: Ummm, there is a really cool looking Krayt skeleton

Difficulty; A long walk if you aren't high level explore, several large beetles at 2k-8k hit points each. Warning shot seemed to have no effect on them. I recommend cloning if you go solo (saves a long trip back too).

Faction req: None

Location; see above

Bugginess: When you return to talk to the commoner, he acts like he doesn't know you (maybe because I died?)

Reward: Unknown, but I did find a large jabba cavern on the way. If anyone knows how to get the Jabba quest southeast of Mos Taike (i've heard I need to talk to a drunk, but I would like a confirmation)

Emperors retreat is bugged. I've done all the missions up to colonel Veers. When you talk to him he tells you a short story but you cannot choose to accept the quest, he says the same thing over and over if you talk to him.

Quest: (a Thief) Missions

Cool Factor: You get nice decorative rewards

Difficulty: Moderate weapon experience

Faction Requirements: None

Location (not exact): Lakeside Retreat on Naboo, right outside the front door to the hotel. Or, on Talus, near the exit is one of these thieves.

Reward: A speaker and holocron shards for the Naboo thief. You can also cancel a mission to keep a dark jedi medallion (i can wear it but it doens't show). A speaker, holocron shards and a black sun medallion (same deal) from the thief on Talus. The Talus thief also gives out something called a shism (sp?) which is a little decoration thingie.

Bugginess: Some missions are escort missions and your escort can be killed by players because they are thugs.

I have asked in General Discussion, and been directed here.

Does anyone know where, who, how to get or start the quest that involves "Eyes of Mesra" as a reward? I've been told it's an NPC reward, but can find no information on it, so have no way to confirm.

Thank you

Lady Valarian's Themepark

Location:  Mos Eisley, Tattooine, Lucky Despot

This one involves only one broken mission, and thankfully that mission does not have to be completed in order to finish the theme park.  Actually, you don't have to complete all of each person's missions in order to move up, but they do have a finite ammount of missions.

If you're a Jabba freak, stay away.  This Lady HATES Jabba, but she'll talk affectionately to you if you don't mind doing a bit of dirty work for her.

The rewards, like most theme parks, seem useless, but hint that perhaps there will be a use for them later.

Light/ Dark Jedi Themepark

Location: Dantooine Jedi Temple (northeast region)

Pardon me for not having the loc with me.  There is an old ruined jedi temple in the northeast region of Dantooine which features both a light jedi with three missions for rebels, and a dark jedi with three missions for imperials or neutral folk.

The light jedi is located at the top part of a cave behind the waterfall, and the dark is on the oposite side near a cool looking green fire.

You can do the dark jedi missions solo if you have superior combat skills, as well as a high level of perserverence.   Rebels can do the dark jedi missions, as well.

Only rebels can do the light jedi missions, though the third mission does not involve attacking imperial NPCs, so technically an imperial person could help.  I won't give it away, but I will say an AT-ST would help alot on her third mission.  Unless you're a master creature handler, bring a big group of experienced players.

Oh yeah.  On the light jedi missions...  If you get incapped you fail.

Herald Missions

Location: Everywhere

Unless you want to find out where a place is, just to get the knowledge of a new dungeon, etc, avoid missions where the NPCs have you travel to far off remote locations just to take a look.  There is no reward for these other than the knowledge of the place they send you.  Of course, as the explorer type myself, I can say with certainty that knowledge of those places can be very beneficial.

Hermit Quest/ Badges of Intellect, Altruism, COurage, and Honor

Location: Tattooine Desert

Yep, the four camps ARE random spawns, but two have been narrowed down to a certain region from Mos Eisley to Bestine.  My suggestion on trying to do these:  Don't.  Two of the badge camps are broken, and the other two are very very very extremely very very rare.

If you happen to be wondering around Tattooine, and you see a collection of smugglers (non agro) with one bounty hunter, a collection of bounty hunters with one smuggler, or a bunch of ranchers and pirates, be sure to go speak with them!  I wouldn't go out looking for 'em though.  Doing such usually involves running in circles in the deserts for days, and losing your chance when someone else sees the spawn too.

Cantina NPCs

Location:  Everywhere

While there isn't a huge reward for these, there is usually a fairly decent story involved with them.  In every cantina, there is at least one static NPC with a handful of static quests, and one very very rare spawn NPC with a handful of static quests.

I hear that sometimes factions that hate you will suddenly see you in a different light after doing these quests, and stop attacking.  Of course, this is only if they have always hated you since day one.  If you've killed too many of 'em, they probably won't forgive ya.

Since someone asked...

Quest: The Mark of Intellect

Location: A smugglers camp somewhere in the east desert valley between Mos Eisley and Mos Taike on Tatooine.  This is a very rare, random spawn, so you need to keep looking, and looking, and looking...

Cool Factor: The reward, so very cool; the quest, so very not.

Difficulty: Finding the quest: VERY HARD.  Doing the puzzle: If you're good at logic problems, not terrible.

Faction Required: None

Reward: The Mark of Intellect Badge

Quest: Gungan Sacred Place

Location: Southern shores of Naboo, east of Imperial Battlefield, ~3km west of Moenia.

Cool Factor: Nice looking place, can't do much with it.. (yet)

Difficulty: Unknown

Bugginess: Off the charts.  First quest given has no dialogue.  Accepting quest results in having to go 4000m to escort someone who spawns in with thugs who kill escort before you can save him.

Faction Required: Good-standing with gungans

Reward: Unknown

This was mentioned offhand in an earlier post, but I will bring it up again.

If you have -5000 thug, some of jabba's and valarians missions are undoable. The target your supposed to talk to agro's on you instantly. If you goto fists (assuming your not a brawler), you MIGHT be able to beat him up enough so he disengages, and you can finish. works 30% of the time for me.

On the other hand, if you stand out of agro range 50-60m, and type /conversationstart, your home free. You finish it, get the goodies, and don't have to waste the bugger.

Only down side is you don't get to hear the witty conversation (ha.. right).

Have a good one..

I had this same problem and eventually (through utter persistance) i manged to solve it.  Just keep clicking on him for the converse option.  The problem is the converse box disapears too quick for you to accept the mission.  It may have something to do with how the game percieves you and him as "in" the world.  As he is standing on a porch.  I noticed that after I ran around a while and came back to him he spoke to me freely.  But it happend again on the next mission so i have no idea what triggers it.  I just kept clicking on him until it worked the second time, and moving slightly until finally (i have no idea why it just worked once) i got the dialogue box to stay open long enough to click on accept. Hope this helps

Well, I tried to do it, but I kept failed on the 2nd mission.

I was supposed to meet up with the NPC's bro (Dark Jedi?), but he kept db'ing me when he saw me coming up to him.  I didn't even have the chance to give him the Jedi Holocron...

I think you have your missions mixed up.  This mission is from the Light Jedi behind the Waterfall near the Jedi temple.  Are you referring to the Dark Jedi misions you get from the Dark Jedi near the Temple?
