Thank you for all the people that have submitted information! With their help, this has become a very long post with lots of useful information in experience locations for the novice and the tier 4 expert! Keep it coming, and I'll continue to update it!

For Imperials/RSF:
Near Endor Durilium there is a Nova Courier called the "Folding Dancer" with a few Rebel ships around it. It seems to be a continuous spawn and returns each time it's killed.

If you are grinding tier 4, go to Kessel. The gunboats there give 24,000 experience points, the Corvett gives 48,000, and everthing else is about 7,000 or 8,000 experience. On top of that, you get lots of good loot, and some faction points. (If you are overt).

Another nice spot is Dantooine, Blacklight Territory
There is a regular spawn with about 10 Tier 3 fighters with occasional bombers and tier 5 bosses.
The main wave respawns when it gets down to 2 or 3 ships.

If you're tired of running duty missions at Tier 2, or need some away time from Tier 3 frustration, I've found a good place for exp/loot to be around Lok at the Bloodlight Sea POI. There are always Teir 2/3 non-grouping non-aggro Nym ships there (also good for a Corsec Privateer mission where you have to destroy 5 Nym ships.) Mostly Y-wings, so they're slow and easy pickin's.

Another nice spawn is right at the Red Sin Chimaera hyperspace point. In a 3k or so radius, black sun ships spawn in Ixiyen/Rixyrhk/Kihrayx ships at tier 4.

There appears to be a static spawn (has been there for over a week) of Tier 5 pirate bombers and light fighters at the Emperor's Hand jump at Dathomir. They're located in the lava-rock asteroids. Sometimes, 3 bombers, sometimes 3 fighters, sometimes a mix, somtimes individuals. It seems to cycle fairly quickly and, if you're pretty decent at dogfighting up to 3 fighters, you can rack up the XP. I've made a bit over 2mil in the past few days. VERY handy (though I've gone to "kill and destroy" duty missions which pay, etc)

If you have a little patience and skill I would suggest going to Kessl and huning Rebel gunboats... If you get behind the Rebel gunships and just below them, then their guns cannot target you. Sit there and take out the engines so it'll stop.... Takes about 2 mins or so, but when you kill them you'll get about 26k of experience, and if you're overt you'll get about 100 or so faction.
Only thing is you gotta be careful when they turn to quickly reposition yourself. Now if you can get about 4 friends together this will roll in like mad. Me and some guildies do this while Corvette hunting and I racked in about 500k in about an hour

Endor - Red Sin Chimerea Death Watch Fighters: Tier 4 with an occasional Tier 5. Tier 4 targets give 3600-3900 per kill and Tier 5 targets give 8k+/kill.
They will span in a group. After you have dispatched them all you get a just enough time to regen shields and capacitors. My guild does this with a group and we take our new pilots out there to level quickly.
If you are engaging the Hutt fighters you are too far out. Take a second and re-aquire a Death Watch fighter. Hutts are only Tier 3 and don't give enough xp to be worth the time and trouble.

For those working on their tier 4 boxes, I have been working in Kessel. All that spawns there are tier 5. There are the occasional B-Wings, X-Wings, and A-Wings. You will also get the occasional gunboat. These are the toughest to take down but with the right attack they can be soloed. Each of these will give around 27k xp each. It appears that they can not attack you if you are dirrectly underneath them. All of the other craft that spawn give about 7k - 8k xp each.
Imperials with bomber strike have some advantage if they are out there solo.

If you are a privateer:
Any Imperial/Rebel base with patrols works. Just need to use the target closest/next NPC ship instead of target enemy. Lok Imperial base has tier 2/3 TIEs and Dathomir Imperial bases has flights of Tier 3 TIEs with a mix of Tier 4. Great thing is that at most, you'll have 3-4 ships on you at one time (if it is a flight of TIEs). All other Imperial ships in the area will ignore you until fired upon. Some of those flights are close enough to destroy all 3 Tier 3s with 1 ep1.

If you're Imperial:
Hyperspace to Endor, section D-435. Near the space station is a Rebel medical cruiser, which spawns 3 B-Wings and 3 X-Wings. They give around 3200-3800 experience per ship, and they always respawn. For solo grinding this is the best place that i've found to farm. You're also very close to the space station if you need repairs. In my opinion, always focus on the B-Wings first, since their rockets can hurt.

At the Ferrous Aurora hyperspace point at Yavin IV, there are multiple Hutt tier 2 (400-600xp), 3s (1000-1.2k xp), and the occassional tier 4 leader (2k-3k xp). There are also some tier 4 Imperial ships there.

If Rebel, around Yavin IV there are numerous Imperial stations that spawn tier 2 TIE Fighters and Interceptors, sometimes a tier 3, rarely a tier 4.

If you're done tier 3 and have good shields and decent speed, hang around about 3km towards Dantooine station from the nearest warp-in spot. There's a wreckage belt there which is filled with drones (400-1200xp) and is regularly visited by several 'Pirate' faction ships (1200-2000xp), and the occasional ship worth 3k+ xp.
Just remember that you can't repair fully at the Dantooine station, so make a hyperspace macro for a hotkey in case it gets too intense (those drones can get some impressive numbers).

If you go out looking for a minute you can find a tier 5 ship that is solo. They give about 8.5k each, and I have had no problem taking them down with my Y-Wing Longprobe and lvl 5 stuff. The spawns that I find usually take about 3 or 4 minutes to re-spawn, but that will give regeneration time if needed.

If you have decent shields maybe some level 5 at least you can kill doctor Shinss's shuttle at the Ferrous Aurora hyper point in Yavin IV. If you need to regenerate your shields just let him sit disabled for a minute. He respawns pretty quick after you kill him. You get 3200xp, there is not much riding around, and you get pretty regular drops.
NOTE: There are some people who need this spawn to finish a mission!!! If they require this spawn, do not get in their way! They have priotity. Use this spawn only as a last resort, and only if there is no one around doing the mission!

Run the Destroy duty mission from your current trainer. If you stick it out for the time it takes to finish the complete duty mission, you will have enough xp to fill a box. This even works at tier 4!!! It's not that glamorous, but it is quick and if you bring friends they can all get xp too and keep you out of the hurt zone when they last few waves start showing up with 6-8 baddies.

You may kill Corsair Man O Wars over Lok for a total of 1.6K experience per kill. Additionally, you may kill other Corsair Sloops for about 1.2K. Nym's Hovel is the hyperspace point for this area.
You can kill craft on Yavin IV as well. A-Wings and B-Wings for you Imperial folks.
One of the best ways to get experience, is to go out with a bunch of buddies, or find a group, and tackle a bunch of harder enemies on the adventure planets, and/or do some missions with people. There is usually a group going on one of the adventure planets, or someone who needs help with a mission.
