I would have paid at least ten times the price he's asking on the bazaar for just one of the pieces he used to get pitch that high. Probably more.
Oh, and I tried contacting Blacksun by email, too. No response. I know he's actually out there because I ran into him at the Endor kimogila spawn. He didn't respond to tells there.

I made him an offer to trade a *large* number of my junky components that I would otherwise sell to the dealer for one or two of his high quality RE'able parts that I sorely need. You'd think it would be a great deal for him, since he'd get a lot more reverse engineers out of a ton of junk than one or two nice pieces. He'd otherwise pay hundreds of thousands of credits if I offered all this to his vendor (which I refuse to do out of principle).
If I see .824VS on some POS L10 RE down the line, I'll hunt him down and kill him IRL, I swear to God/Bob/Vishnu/Shiva/Mohammed/Mickey Mouse. My beloved Wrath might have .830, but .778 pre-RE would be CRIMINAL to waste.

He's no shipwright. He's actually been looking to adopt one and he has been toying with the idea of becoming an vendor of exceptional space loot, but unless something has changed recently, he's just one of the most active and capable pilots on Eclipse.

Yeah, I'm the richest non-shipwright Pilot on the server, most likely.
And the extensive knowledge was all passively gained. When you do anything for seven months straight, you tend to get pretty proficient at it.
And I haven't adopted a SW yet (mostly because I haven't figured out how to whittle down the candidates), and I haven't received any interest regarding the reward engine kits, either.

Have you ever read Blacksun's bio. Laughable at best to those abominations posted and more I have seen on the bazaars. I've come to the conclusion many of these vendors have no idea what they have and may never. Course all the better to get good non-RE'd parts cheap.

Someone needs to find every shipwright that's throwing away decent componets by using them in mediocre, at best, REs and hit them over the head with a rolled up newspaper, point a finger at them then say "No!" Then they need to grab these shipwrights by the head and rub their faces in the crimes against reverse-engineered componets they have commited, then make them read this thread.
