Couple questions:

Is there a way to find certain monsters besides the mission terminals? There are some easy but high con mobs which give a lot of experience, but I only stumble upon them through chance.

Also is it possible to navigate the crafting system through the keyboard?
make a macro:

/tendwound health; /tendwound strength; /tendwound constitution; /tendwound stamina; /tendwound quickness; /tendwound action
if you have organic chemistry 4, do the following

1.  get a bunch of resources: 100*gas, 100*metal, 100*water and 400*organic(hides/meat work)

2.  Find your local chemical crafting station

3.  Open your chem crafting box and make about 4 of each wound pack B for all the attributes.  Experiment effectiveness on all components.  You should make tons of med crafting and gen crafting xp by doing this (for all you would-be bio engineers or doctors).

4.  Make macro

/healwound health; /healwound strength; /healwound constitution; /healwound stamina; /healwound quickness; /healwound action

walk to your local hospital and start using this macro.  Yes, you need to be pretty advanced in organic chem, but since you can raise the skill by just sitting at a crafting station making medicine, it isnt death intensive.

The cool thing about this is the following:

/tendwound costs 300 mind points avg depending on focus (or is it the other one?)

/healwound costs less that 100.  By /sit ing and using this macro, you will never run out of mind, it heals faster than you use it.  Also, this method gives you roughly 2*heal xp (heal 30 wounds get 60 xp).  Thus per heal you are gaining much more xp than with tendwound.  This translates to faster healing for your bed-ridden explorers and faster advancement through medic proficiencies.

medic tip:

As a novice medic you can basically make stim-packs and that's it.  You can use these anywhere on anyone with action or health damage to get xp, so go someplace you know people will be able to take some kind of healing.  Cantina's always have entertainers who can use action point healing.  Some spots have lots of artisan's sampling resources in town that could use action point healing, and you can always tag along with a hunting group and heal people in the heat of combat.  A much more fun way to xp than sitting in a hospital from day one.  Just be sure to craft a lot of stims first.

Also, /tenddamage is an acceptable alternative to tipping in cantinas because the entertainer not only gets healed of her/his action damage thus allowing them to continue playing, but you also incure mind damage and battle fatigue, which the entertainer immediately heals for xp.  Plus with /tend, you don't need any stims.

Tired of wating for the Crafting tool to complete your prototype so you can start the next one? Well, build a couple extra and put them in a row in the hotbar. So while waiting for one crafting tool's timer to reset, move on to the next one. 3 tools in a row work out perfectly, no delay. Helps out a ton when your grinding out those crafting points.

Program your Droids!

As notted above for doid attack, it took me a long time to figure them out.

When you use the raidial menu to give your droid a program that is to set the command.  So, use the radial menu, select the desired command.  your droid will then respond with "?" once you see the ?, you druid is ready for its new command.  use /say to set the command, once set your druid should respond with "!".  to signify that command is set.

A quick overview.

Call Droid

Target Droid

Use radial menu, go to program, select follow me

Droid should respond with a "?"

type /say follow me droid

Droid should respond with a "!"

Now when ever you want your droid to follow you just type /say Droid Follw me

Is anyone aware of a way to shut down a long macro early?  That would be really useful to know.

Equipped items don't count toward your inventory "burden".

So, crafters, if you find yourself needing that one more space, equip your gun, or put on your jacket.

A note to my post to get waypoints without doing the /find.  The CTRL V. You don't even need to go on the map and do the right click on it.  Do the right click on the place you want that you find on the right side.

Same example I gave in my previous post. You go to trainer section click on that one then click the one for scout. Find the one that is in the town you are in and just right click on the name and it will give you the option to create a waypoint in your datapad. The only thing you need to do now if you want to keep it is to name it as the waypoints comes out with the name of the planet you are on.

I seen somebody on this thread say it already but they didn't explain it. When climbing a Mountain, face yourself straight at it. Then hold forward to start moving forward and while moving forward, hold down either left or right step at the same time. You will climb alot faster. Also getting the scout novice profession helps good too as it gives you a terrain bonus.
