Forget it, the Jetpack is unattainable. We attempted a second craft after a CSR reimbursed our items, and it failed in exactly the same way. We do not appreciate being used to test content, being manipulated by CS and being toyed with by mystery men behind the curtain.
Not surprised no Dev we PM'd would show up to watch the craft. Not surprised CSManager Bruce Economy said he couldn't come with us, even though he is in the office this evening.

man that sucks....sorry to hear you guys went through all the trouble and expense AGAIN to get down there to craft the thing only to have the exact same thing happen. The devs need to give a straight answer on the issue of the jetpack and whether it is in game or not. Their shifty answers in dev chat about the 5th part and the fact that they obviously recognized a problem on their end and returned the items indicates to me that it can't be done. It is wrong of them to advertise content that isn't in game yet. If they came out and said they were still working out the jet pack I think the player base would be a lot more understanding and folks wouldn't waste their time. Honestly I believe it was never intended to be done. The very fact you got the Jetpack Stabilizer so early on after the DWB opened reminds me of the folks who were looting razor knuckler schematics the first day, only to then have them kept off of live. I think the stabilizer component, like the razor knuckler schematic, was never intended to drop until they worked out the bugs with the jetpack and balanced it. They probably stopped it from droping, knowing that a few slipped by in the first couple days, and then proclaimed in their Dev chat that the part had dropped on live. Enough of the BS SOE, you need to be frank with your customers. A lie only gets worse the more you try to cover it up.
It amazes me that they wouldn't give you a full working model of the jetpack since the logs showed that you made it down there and it was a bug on THEIR end that stopped you from crafting the jetpack.
What a waste of your time Especially to do it twice with nothing to show for it except used up armor and used up weapons.

I really wish I could say I was surprised. But then again, see my sig.
A dev comment on the matter would be really nice, providing an explanation as to why this happened. Is there a bug in the crafting process? Or is it due to the fact that the jetpack code is yet another incomplete portion of the game and they were hoping to finish it up before anyone noticed?

-Binary Liquid was gotten within that week on a raid I was not on, but it was either the Overlord or a Wraith that dropped that. -Protective Liquid Coating we bought from someone else on Radiant 2.5 months later. Mainly cause it wouldnt drop off anything we killed after a week of constantly being down there. (snip)

I thought there were only six as you say in your second post ? (Ducted Fan, Fuel Injection Unit, Injector Tank, Alum Minerals, Jetpack base, Jetpack Stabilizer).

I have 3 of the 6 components.(and I know it doesnt work but ill collect them until they do announce the quest/craft working)..are you saying that I have to get some other components to make a helmet so that I can get into the room?...or the artisan that will make it for me?...

To get into the room you have to have at LEAST, a BH armor piece that is craftable by a DE. A protective liquid coating, Binary liquid, and Alum minerals. If you wish to make a jetpack you need those ingredients also, and it DOES require alum minerals for the jetpack.

No, the Jetpack hasn't been fully tested and implemented yet. Despite what the devs say, it was not live when these people attempted to craft it. Assuming that they tried a second time yesterday after the latest mini-publish, the Jetpack still isn't live.
We won't see a Jetpack until they sneak it in with a patch or publish, just like Luke Skywalker and the Jedi profession. They told us those were live, too, but nobody could get to them. Then comes a patch, and "bam!", they're in the game.
Okay..i have a BH Helmet..luckily I didn’t sell it for the 1 mil someone offered me for it.
And I assume that all other components are found within the bunker itself…yes?

Just read the Dev tracker post in the Radiant forum.
Looks like we'll have to wait for the jetpack revamp.

I don't understand how they can just give you a jetpack to make a video, yet they won't give us one after we technically CRAFTED the thing lol. Btw your videos rock, and the above comment has absolutely nothing to do with you really. Just the decision the devs made to not give us one after all this time.
