Wow that is really undeniably depressing.... I truly hope that they aren't trying to cover up for their own infalibity and brushing aside the fact that the jetpack they so raved about was actually not available to live players... not meant to be another SOE flame but i mean come on here's the plain truth...
THE HARDEST MOBS TO KILL IN ONE DUNGEON IN THE GAME...
THE HARDEST LOOT TO ACHIEVE IN THE GAME...
AND POSSIBLY THE MOST REWARDING OUTPUT OF PREPARATION AND DEDICATION TO A GOAL IN THIS GAME...
AND ITS BUGGED...
THE BEST LOOT IN THIS MMORPG...
AND YOU CAN'T ACHIEVE IT...
 
Such reward for their now obvious fruitless endeavor... I sure hopes someone with a certain degree of influence sees this and realizes that they are supported by the community in this issue and it is not just a select few... They have given light to an issue that has infuriated the community that seeks this common goal, which happens to be quite a few... Please support this thread and see that the issue be given true justice...

They probably realised the jetpack wasnt working, but as they had to show something and keep the players busy they claimed it would be there and you just had to invest a few months and some zillion credits to get it. "By the time they get near to having all required parts we will have it fixed" they must have hoped. Guess it didnt turn out that way. More promises and LIES - keep paying your fees and shut up.... or submit a ticket so our indian CS guys can "answer" it. Dont count on us fixing this - the devs are all on the new cascow JTL, sorry.
 
I also find it totally uncorrect to delete/move a post of that importance. It should have been made sticky, and SOE should have the guts to announce the "bug" right in the launchpad to stop more players falling in the same trap.
 
I really hope you guys get your jetpack, but I came to the conclusion there must be some issues with it so that they cant put it live (similar to the AT-AT art stuff). I cross my fingers for you - otherwise I guess its just a few more accounts cancelled in the end for SOE.

Sucks the game is full of bugs and that SOE doesnt give a **edit** about it. I hope for once Devs will read your thread and give you a jetpack

We're all waiting with baited breath...hell, even another "This post won't be deleted or 'moved to the Dev Archives' because it's still decently a Game Guide" post by GarVa would be reassuring.  The worst feeling in the world is having a problem and knowing that no one is doing anything to fix it.

I thought there were only six as you say in your second post ? (Ducted Fan, Fuel Injection Unit, Injector Tank, Alum Minerals, Jetpack base, Jetpack Stabilizer).

You want to know why this is still messed up?
 
Because they rushed this publish through Test Center in record time.  You'd think they'd at least give people enough time to test making things like this before the Devs declare it fit to push to Live.

Yes we did get a CSR reply today. From Bruce Economy. And the Development team looked at the logs and decided that the terminal bugged out on us and we lost all of our parts because of a fluke in the system.

Our parts were returned by the CSRs.

Thank you for the response... and we will attempt to make this Jetpack again...

We'll do more than just post screens. We're drafting a LARGE guide containing information you've not seen elsewhere, as well as setting up a Jetpack bot of some kind for you all to see in person.
