OK. Here's a link for the Rebel Faction Armor schematics.

A request for the new update.

Hi,

I've been using the spreadsheet for quite some time now and wanted to say how much of a blessing it has been for all my crafting and resource selling.

Now for my question...

Will it be possible to get the shcematics listed in the drop down menu alphabetized? It's brutal to try and look through the list for a certain schem when I have 5 professions used in the tool. It would be awesome if this were to be included in your new update.

Thanks again for doing such a great job.

You can do that already, there's a drop-down option in cell C6 on the Schematic tab to switch between "Tool Order" and "Alphabetical Order".

Hi there first off had to say great tool. now spotted an error in the launchers. they are taking 100% OQ for the resource calculations. It is actually 50% Ut 50% OQ for Energy Maintainance 33% OQ 66% UT for Mass HP and armour

The various tools like this are still in the process of being updated with the changes post combat upgrade. With that being said, I still try to use the tool since it still is very useful to me.

The instructions to Fooman's tool are still around, and they should be able to get you started. Enter your own resources into the tool, use the tool to find what's spawning on your server that is good (so you can place harvestors on them). When you are ready, use the schematic feature to determine which of your resources are best for that particular weapon or sub-component. Something to keep in mind, some of the schematics have changed, plus there are new weapons post combat upgrade and ROTW. Compare what the tool says to what your datapad says or you may be in for some unpleasant surprises. Good luck!

As far as I know the tool has not been updated post combat upgrade. Various people are working on it, but it takes time. This may have been one of the many things that changed.

Any progress on an update of The Tool?

Thylex 06-05-2005 12:25 AM

I got an error I never saw before in the tool. I've been using it for quite some time, using v1.70.02.
I respecd to chef and just did a run of my first Light Food Additives. When I try to set the tool to another schematic after that I get a run-time error 6, spill (overrun?)
When I do a little debugging it looks like the tool tries to match the component Light Bio Food Component to a schematic in the Data All sheet.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Is there a fix?

Anyone know how I can add the Kashyyyk organic resources to the drop down list? I've started gathering some of them, but can't figure out how to add it to the drop down list on the resource page. Absent of an update, I'd like to at least track them somewhere.

Is thier anyone that plans on keeping this great program going?

Tharre 07-15-2005 02:11 PM

Trying

I've been trying to update the program but have had a few problems trying to figure out where all the code is updated. Like the new weight factors based on min/max of the resource, adding asteroids and the like.

Well, I actually got the asteroids added and it worked great on the schematics but as soon as I tried to get the WTH it just would not load. In my limited spare time I've been trying to walk it through the debugger.

Another issue is to try and get the lastest min/max from swgcraft website loaded into the program so that it can be used in the experimental numbers of the schematics.

The VBA code is documented but to do updates it is tough. This program is a very complicated and rich program and is very time consuming to update and modify especially after the CU. Plus, swgcraft does not track the Space resources and I'm not positive if it tracks the Kashyyk resources.

It is a rough slugfest to read that many lines of anything :-)

check here Tharre, I've been trying myself and it looks like a few people are trying to make at least one version of this awsome tool go

Great tool, I'm looking forward to the BE and other updates.

For now, how do you work around kashyykian carnivore meat choking the resource page when you update your entries?

I get an error on it and an offer to debug it which I instantly cancel lest I break something but the hour glass remains even though task manage says it's using no CPU time.

Thanks,
Veriss
