80% vs. 90% Vehicles

Ok... I see most 80% to 85% Swoops going for about 45k on Starsider. I can make 93% Swoops with my current resource stock. I don't notice a great deal less decay on my 93% Swoop vs. the old 81% Swoop that my alt is still using. Is there enough difference in decay rate for me to charge more for a 93% Swoop? If so, how much more can I charge?

I've been saving these good vehicle resources and just using them to make 93% AV-21s for folks. But if I can make some extra credits selling 93% Swoops too, all the better.

And they say Eclipse has a wacked economy...

The difference is the HAM... check the max HAM on both of them, see if the difference is worthwhile...

What are they going for on Eclipse? Swoops lesser than 80% can be found for 20-25k I think... I never look at them if they're not labeled with a %.

Ok... Mine (92%) is 2382 and my Alt's (I think it was 81%) is 2356. So... This tells me that I should prob'ly save my good resources for AV-21s. I don't think I can justify +10k for approx 30 HAM.

I bought a 79% AV-21 for 3 mil. and it has about 2700 ham.
The guy's 96% AV-21's for 5 mil have a little over 2900 ham.

I picked up a Swoop that was in the 88% range for around 25k. 25 - 30k seems to be fairly standard for Swoops, with Bikes being in the 18-25k and X-34's in the 10 -20k range.

You got a fair amount of PVP happening on Starsider? If so that'd account for the higher prices, due to higher demands. I know there's some people who buy swoops by the crate because of the frequentness of finding themselves on foot.

We've had a long dry spell of decent high SR Phrik Aluminum so that may also be why the prices are higher.

You might want to recheck those numbers. An 81% swoop will have 2215-2229 HP. 2356HP would be a 90% Swoop.

%*15+1000=HP for Swoops and Speederbikes.
%*15+1500=HP for X34 and AV-21s.

HP(-1000)/15=% for Speederbikes and swoops.
HP(-1500)/15=% for X34 and AV-21s.

Ok, well the % durability bonus may reflect the HAM, but what about the decay rate? I had what I purchased as an 87% swoop that would tick off 25 damage as soon as I called it, but now that I have my own master artisan making 92-94% pretty regularly, they now tick off 50 damage. Overall, they seem to wear down faster than the 87%, has there been a change in the durability of vehicles? Or do I need to pay more attention to DR in the materials? UT? OQ?

Swoops decay faster than regular bikes.

I was wondering if you were thinking of the original being a bike rather than a swoop (which would account for the 2x decay tic).

Either way, I now charge 30% more than I use to because of the widespread use of the 40k swoop bug/exploit. Makes up for the losses I am incurring because of it.

Nope, all speederbikes considered in this comparison are for consistency, swoops. Besides, the reverse would be the case if the original was not a swoop, but it lasted better than the new swoops I have made. That is, it lasted better until some pirate decided to beat on it while my back was turned killing his buddies.

Since the release of pub. 10, I've been selling speeders for 20k and swoops for 25k on Dath. My speeders are at 87% and my swoops are at 94%. All are labled. Due to the lack of a garage, I've been selling like crazy. The village is so far out and Nightsisters keep me in business.
