If you cityban someone and then warn them to be able to attack them and they arent cloned on the planet the clone facility defaults to your clone facility as the closest.
Because they cant clone in your facility they respawn in the same spot, still attackable and with major wounds, if your really angry with someone you can keep doing it over and over leaveing them with nothing and eventually destroying all their items with the decay.
I will admit it was fun getting back at the theif who thought they were slick by leaveing the guild and takeing the stuff given to them with them but it was even more fun getting it all back and takeing it out on his hide.
Thing is , I can see this getting highly exploited and causeing alot of problems. I can see it getting really bad in pvp.
It was hard keeping poeple from wanting to set there and kill him all night, it was even harder to do with them respawning in the same spot after a deathblow.
Picture a guy getting creamed and still haveing to walk home 5k meters outside of bestine with 3/4 of his HAM in wounds.
Something you might want to look into and maybe change a few things to stop it from happening on a mass scale before it gets out of hand.
And if your someone who thought it might be cool to mess with poeples citys I would read this and think twice..
When someone gets /citywarned, they have 2 minutes to leave the city limits before they become attackable by that city's milita.
If they are daft enough to stick around for the 2 minutes, get killed and sent to that city's cloning facility, they must be /citywarned again, and have yet another 2 minutes to leave the city limits.
Does anyone honestly see this as a serious problem?
I agree with Taurin here...really if that person is that Daft to hang around to get repeatedly warned by the milita then they are a perfect example of why the City Warn command was even needed.

unless you are on a slow machine and it takes 2 min to load.
There is also the problem with dieing out in the wild and having the closest city be an Imperial one with covert scanners sitting outside the clone center. Not good for wandering Rebels.

BULWARK
What people are saying about Bulwark:
Bulwark.....simply brilliant.
As much as i would enjoy forcefully inserting Bulwark into a wood chipper, he has a point.
We've already went on record as saying you're fine with us Bulwark.
greatest... post... ever...I lay down my mouse and keyboard at your mighty postingness.
Bulwark, that is the best post ever!
First, the command /cityban is different than /citywarn. If you have been banned from a city, you will not be able to clone there. There is a bug in that system right now, so don't test it out today, but hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow.
Second, cloning in a city of the opposite faction is definitely something we don't want players to get caught up in some sort of death loop. That's not fun. GreenMarine is making sure that all of this is taken care of.
Hopefully this helps clear some things up for you all.
Taurin can we get the ability to /cityban entire guilds? I heard right now all you can do is cityban each specific person. But it'd be nice if we could just do a /cityban guild:SBK or whatever.
-unless changed on test, /citywarn is 30 seconds, not 2 min.
-killing someone and then /cityban them before they clone so they cant clone in your city, causes their corpse to be banned, not them. Needs to be the person not the corpse
-If the cityban list is anything like house admin lists, its going to hold maybe 100 names.
Need the ability to set /cityban rebel. So we set it once, and no rebel can clone in our city. That way when 100 come to attack us they cant group tef spam us using our own facilities.
If we have to individually target and ban each one individually, well its an exercise in futility.

It takes time for someone to finish loading enough till they have control of their toon. If it takes them a minute to load, then they only have a min left (using your timer). The 30 second Live timer runs out before a lot of people finish loading.
You don't have a choice when cloning. It only gives you the Player City as an option if that's the closest one.
