It's a good idea but it seems too easy. I do remember the devs saying that not everyone will be able to become Jedi. That could either mean it's too hard for most or each Jedi is "selected".
As for the "path" to get there, has anyone considered that the process may not be programmed. But each person selected individually for some reason or just randomly. Then each persons path is determined by a real person. They got plenty of hired help playing the game... Just a thought.
We shall see in the end, no use getting upset about it now.
No, the devs said everyone will be able to get the Force Sensitive slot, both hardcore and casual gamers. They never said it was easy or hard, they just said it was mysterious. They never said if it was linear or not linear, so that's why I'm actually trying this theory as it fits with all the requirements and stories and events people have encountered.

He's right, they did say that the casual gamer has just as much of a chance as the hardcore gamer...i.e There probably isnt some long drawn out quest to become force sensitive.
Devs did say however; that the road to becoming a Jedi was ultra hard. So everyone will, or has a chance at some point become force sensitive..its what you do and where you go afterwards; that will be the hardest task. If you read on it, once you obtain this force slot...at some point you will be hunted down by the Empire before you can even become a full fledged Jedi.
This is where all these way out planets come in...because you would want to get as far away from the Empire as possible. But even then the Dark Jedi wont be 2 far away...beginning to see the difficulty here?
That means you better have a pretty strong support group around you at all times (sounds like Luke, as his @ss would've been grass w/o Han) You guys are focusing to much on how to become force sensitive and not enough on "what the hell do I do next"! because I for one want to make sure I make as many friends as possible.

90% of the "theories" are flawed because of one simple thing; they are based on a system that is the same for everyone, one of the few things the devs explicitly state in not true. This lumps in nicely with that 90%. I think it's time to stop speculation and start documenting. I have heard about some kind of message you get when you are close to unlocking a FS slot, people need to just record the message(screens preferably), and state what they were doing at the time, profession, location all that jazz. Anything else is just wasted effort.
Very nice idea blue, a lot more logical than most theories.
I would like to think that you are wrong tho, as if someone deletes their destined container then they will never unlock the slot.....i always give my locked containers away to smugglers, as slicing is their business....imagine if someone paid a smuggler to slice his container and the sumggler found something interesting in there and told the guy that the container contained some crap pistol he had in his inventory so he could keep the item.
If this turns out to be the way it works, everyone will have to become a smuggler to open the slot, lets face it, anyone role-playing a smuggler cant be trustworthy
Yeah, that is a good idea. I am expecting it to be something like that. But they did say yuo wouldn't know how you did it.... the message would come a few hours after you said it.
Y'know, for all those people saying theories can't be true because they're the same for everyone...well how do you know there aren't multiple different pathes? I'm not saying this theory is necessarily true, but for all the theories I've read so far, someone always comes in saying the path is too straightforward and too easily duplicated. If there were so much as 3-5 main paths, each with their own variations of NPCs/items/quests, that could potentially lead to an enormous number of possibilities, which could result in a different method for all players. It's like math...theories on paper always sound straightforward until you throw in real-world applications. Similarly, a straightforward FSCS theory posted in the forums could sound really simple, but when you throw in 7 cities spanning 16,000 square meters, along with hundreds of different NPCs, and the fact that the NPC generation is likely random, is it really that simple anymore?
Hey every one im just posting this do to the fact i have a locked containor how i got it i will not share so i can have fun killing for them my hint to u. and selling. if u would like to purchase this rare thingy i will be nice enough to find more since i dont truely own the game i bumm of my friend im not on all the time but if u would like to talk my aim screen name is Balla15folife. May the force be with us and i will suply locked items ha ha ah ah ah ah ah ah a
Oh, to add onto the theory. The devs said the life of a jedi was a lonely one, so I'm guessing it starts with unlocking the Force Sensitive slot. I'm thinking you can obtain any items from other players that revolve around the quest, and the trials I mentioned would have to be done alone. All it does is prepare you for what being a jedi is like.
Oh, and if anyone is interested, I found loads of locked containers last night, so I'm gonna now look for some maps and stuff.
