Some clarification on the mob i killed: That was random, I think, I had killed lots of them before.
It was probably just the trigger, after a certain timer had run out ( maybe one day after I declared residence, or one week after mastering something ?)- it was the first kill after i logged on.
I'm curious Monika, how long ago did you master your last profession?
Automated timer would make sense in making it harder to determine the last thing you did. Also the fact that the producers did an interview and let pc.ign.com release it today before even knowing a Jedi was activated...makes me think they knew you had it...just had to wait out the timer or have a certain specific random thing happen...perhaps in relation to your current profession when you opened the slot.
lol thats hilarious some people did so much and she did so little and got her FSCS
Aye, such as going to every little special spot, poi, planet, moon, dungeon. Getting married. Buying a house and declaring residency. PVPing. PVEing. Faction faction faction. Doing quests for everything with an "I" above its head. Keeping harvestors in top notch condition. Being conscientious. Tipping well. Being polite. Using alot of emotes. Being fair-priced. Joining a guild. Generosity. Kindness. Helpers. Roleplayers. Scoping out every odd inconsistency. Standing for hours looking over monuments. Deciphering languages. Following trails every which way. Screenshots filling up the hard drive with possible clues that were nothing but screenshots filling up the hard drive. Oy, when I think about the trip I made 5k across Dathomir with nothing but a non-ch pet, and my uber tailoring skills, thinking the inevitable death by Rancor was worth the risk to finish that mission, I gotta laugh at my own stupidity. What was I thinking...
Yea its interesting that it was an exp increase that trigggered it, Kinda like when your ready to learn multiple skills and the first thing you do you get spammed with you now qualify for x.
What was the last thing you did in the session before logging in last night?
Kiashia [90 Elder Jedi, 90 Spy, 90 Medic, 90 Bounty hunter, 90 Commando] The crystal is the heart of the blade. The heart is the crystal of the Jedi. The Jedi is the crystal of the Force. The Force is the blade of the heart.
Have you done other stuff such as exploration? Do you often hunt in a group, if so pick ups with random people or a guild group. You say you love attention - would you say you are a social player, do you chat with lots of diferent people, use a lot of emotes or moods?
I'm just thinking that we can cross things off the list if you just didn't do them - some people never use moods. I hope there are more jedi on your server soon so you can team up

If you read the beginning email you recieve when starting a character it basically lays out a path to follow (somewhat)
master multiple professions (as determined by the holocrons)
visit all the planets and stake your claim (declare residence)
do a themepark (any)
climb the ranks in imp/rebel faction (get highest rank)
I can't remember the rest, but if your read it as a "guide" to becoming force sensitive, it kinda makes sense if you take everything they list to the extreme...
As far as akinom is concerned she seems to have followed it nicely.
Im not kidding about the starting Email! Go make a character on another server and read the "path" it suggests you follow if your not sure what to do as a starting character....They gave us the formula all along...

Congratulations Monika =) I have a few questions that would help clarify alot for the rest:
1. How long after your *last* mastered profession did you open the FS slot? i.e. a week, ten days, etc?
2. What sorts of activities did you perform between #1 and the time you opened the FS slot?
3. How long after your last holocron guided profession did you open the FS slot? (after it went silent)
4. WHat sorts of activities did you perform between #3 and the time you opened the FS slot?
Basically, your path and actions are giving the picture that opening an FS certainly requires mastering a random set of professions generated for each character. Beyond that, there may be other activities, or perhaps just a "timer", that are needed to open the FS. It could be as general as get a couple ranks in a faction, get a residence, and master 6 professions.

I think you just hit it... that makes a lot of sense.
"I mastered 23 professions and all I got was this lousy force slot..."

im sure they snuck the patch in, it was simply waiting for her to ding xp of any kind, be on the lookout for others saying I crafted this, or I tamed this, or I did my first flourish. . . .. .it was probably this mornings patch and she was the only one that had already opened her FS, it just needed the patch to update her.
