First let me commend you on a well written post. And I wish (oh I wish) it were true. I'm not saying that it is NOT true. One of the posters in this thread mentioned that he started as an artisan and his holos gave him 4 elite fighting professions and was using this as evidence that this theory may be true.
I have had exactly the opposite happen to me.
I started as an artisan. Mastered Artisan, Weaponsmith and Merchant. (All from the artisan tree, this was before holos came out)
Then I read my first Holo - TKA, this would support the theory because I had ZERO (almost) combat Xp. After TKM, my next holo said Armorsmith (WTH, my 4th artisan profession), then my next holo said Droid Engineer (huh, my 5 artisan profession). My 4th holo was silent.
So here is what i deduced at that time. Since my holo went silent after three, then one of my previous masters just happened to be one of my required professions. So my 3 holo professions were TKA, Armorsmith, Droid Engineer, and my 4th holo professions was either Artisan, Weaponsmith, Merchant. So it is fair to say that 3 of the 4 holo professions i have completed were from the artisan tree AND there is a 67% chance that those 3 were ALL elite artisan professions.
Since then, I've mastered Medic, Architect (more artisan XP), Entertainer, Image Designer, Dancer and Musician.
I also think it's fair to say that I'm covered in the "social" metric.
So according to this theory (and I'm just trying to apply it and guess what I should do next) I would need more medical experience , more combat XP (but why didn't the holo tell me another combat profession) OR maybe GOD FORBID, I have an exceptionally high metric generated for ARTISAN and I should master Chef and / or Tailor.
I am thinking I may go ahead and finish the Brawler class, then marksman, then if it's not opened, either shoot myself, or do BH, CH or BE.
Let me know what you think.
