I'm a huge fan of Sorenson 3 compression. I've had great results with it, though I admit I don't a lot of experience in prepping specifically for web delivery. But, for the overall compression : quality ratio, Sorenson 3 rocks.

I am a player from the Bria server, and I recently opened a website that is dedicated to hosting fan made movies from Galaxies. The website is www.swgalaxy.net. This site has only been up for about a month, but I have already had several submissions from players of SWG. I caught wind of this post from Pani Lightsider's website after viewing her movie, "Fallen".
By replying to this forum post, it is my hope that I can convince some of you to allow me to host your videos on my server, and displayed from my website. First off, let me assure you that there is no profit in this for me whatsoever. This site is a labor of love and all expenses for it's availability come directly out of my own pocket. By agreeing to allow me to host your video on my site, that is all you are agreeing to. There is no catch. Your production will be given a spot on the site, fully credited to the filmmaker. You're video will be made available for view and/or download.
I enjoy the creations of our bright minded film makers, as I am sure the rest of us do. It is my ain to provide a place where these fan films can be enjoyed and appreciated by all. I understand that there are other more established web sites out there that host fan films. What do I have to offer that they don't? Nothing to be quite honest with you. I am one man, running this website for the betterment of all who play SWG, and enjoy the creativity of in game filmakers.

For those of you who have not seen Eerif's "My Inspiration" you should! I've not been so impressed by a SWG fanfilm in awhile. If you're one of those emotinally in-touch people, be prepared for a tear or two....

wow just found this thead... spent hours watching all you peeps video... lot of nice work hear... you all should get them hosted on Lucasfiles.com .they only have 42 films listed there...and only about a dozen of them are any good.... there are lots of peeps there that have video's posted that could take lessons from you all...there are some on there that should just be put in the recycle bin...... thanks for the enjoyment...
i done some filming before the last patch and it was smooth and not so crisp.. since last patch everything is now crisp and choppy.. anyone else notice this???

Ok this is going to be a totally newb question... I want to video but I want to get rid of everything on my screen, chat, tool bar, radial etc... how in the world do I do that?
