I agree with him, Jedi have destoyed what little content this game ever had.
I wish more people would hoarde crystals too, that's a sure way to keep the number of Jedi down.
Not everyone thinks Jedi are that great dude.
In fact, they are the single most destrucive character class in the game imo.

Crystals / Pearls etc are just part of the system used to make a lightsaber. People want to make a semi decent lightsaber, simply to make it a little easier to get the 51 million odd COMBAT EXPERIANCE, yes I said Combat Experiance.
Jedi is not going to ruin the game. Most Jedi have already quit the game becuase of the lack of crystals / pearls / incentive to actually do all the umltimate grind that is needed to learn basic skills, let alone master!
SOE may have dropped the death penalty on Jedi's, but not that many will actually sit there day in day out, killing trillions of critters in order to learn the skills needed.... which will keep the numbers down!

I agree with you that the numbers will probably always be down. Right nwo you see a lot of people who are grinding to get Jedi - but in the end, the XP needed to gain levels in jedi are insane. It seems many people, who have opened their FS slot, have decided to not play it. Personally I have met 3 jedi in the last few months. I keep my eyes open and everything, too....but simply said - the Xp grind is probably should to keep most from being very high in jedi.

Problem is, it also hinders those of us who want to play Jedi so players can be involved hunting us down. I want my Jedi to learn skills, but I don't like this grinding of killing things to open skills.... and if I wanted a game like that, I could have bought "black hawk down" or "quake".
Yes, this high status will keep the numbers down, but who are the people who will rise to the challange?

I am getting old and find it hard, but you know there is going to be some power crazed kids who will sit in front of the screen 12 hours plus a day grinding this skill set and yet have no idea what being a Jedi is... they just want it LEET and UBER and all the rest of it.
Though I am still holo grinding I have mad a huge effort to kill everything to try and loot crystals. Except for Jawa, only because I kill some many Tusken Raiders, and Corsec, I am at -5000 pretty much all across the board. I have yet to find one crystal. I have been killing NPC's for months now. The Devs need to do something about this for the Jedi. The lack of crystal loot is appalling.

Fort tusken has a lot of crystle drops warlords seem to drop the single crystls iv looted 3 so far off of them. And cheif's drop the twin force crystls iv looted 2 so far off of them. i kill about 10 or so warlords befor a crystle drop and 20 to 25 cheif's.
low level NPC caves have been dropping them....each one i went to i got a force crystal the first time through...but havnt got anything from going into the same cave twice....now im hunting krayts =)
Seriously, between hunting giant dune kimogila and krayt dragons (no drops so far) there have been no crystal drops from the usual places these last few weeks.
