I know its possible to get the Mystical Glowing Orb from an npc in mos eisley
BUT
I've heard ppl say the Mystical Orb (red crystal looking thingy) doesnt drop any more
Well i looted one 2 nights ago from the Untrained Padawan u have to kill in the dark jedi missions at teh jedi temple poi, 3rd and final mission i think.
So this does still drop i guess
BTW i got several nice loot items off this Untrained Padawan, not to mention more than a few Padawan Braids, just rinse-repeat the mission a bunch of time
Any 'criminal' NPC will eventually give you one as a quest. Please note, these NPC missions keep recycleing so if you find what you want, keep doing the missions and you will get it again sooner or later.

The backpack is loot junk, but I havent looted one since publish 4. I got the Valarians Items last month, both of them are still around. I like the orb "Glowing LS crystal" The drinks can be purchased from bartenders so they arnt gone.
Its sad to see Windom go, that was my favorite quest in SWG. I still have the pistol to
Wayfar has multiple spawns of each of these NPC's. Scientists, Crimials, Nobelmen and so on. It's probably the best one to do this at due to the size of the town.

so they are deliver quests ? and you just keep the item you want ? or its rewards ?
A little of both. The speakers are reward items. Locked briefcases are delivery as are the electronic key. It honeslty amazes me whats on the NPC quests that people ask a huge amount of credits for when they could get 99% of these as a novice combat profession.

It gets trickier as you go along and mess up your Thug/Bandit faction. You'll have to constantly adjust it so they don't always attack you (some always will as part of the quest). How? By beating up on plainsfolk, moisture farmers, hermits (not evil hermits), people of that sort.
I usually see the criminal behind the small unused cantina in Bestine (the one near the shuttleport).

There's a simpler way than that. Most agressive NPCs will not register your presence unless you are closer than 40m to them. Stand at like 45m , make sure you are /peaced , have /conv ready in the chat bar and target the NPC. Burst run towards it and at about 10m press enter so it registers the /conv. Because you have burstrun in the NPC won't have time to attack before you have it in conversation.
Used this trick while doing the Imp themepark a couple of weeks ago. You used to be able to use /conv from 60-70m away but it doesnt seem to work for now unless you're right on the NPC in question.
I'm surprised no one mentioned the highly sought after ornate rugs.
