If this doesn't work, the server is down, please try again later.
31. I occasionally get disconnected, where my chat stops working and I can't see other players chat.
- This is a common bug right now with the emulator. This means you have lost connection to the server. Pressing SHIFT+ESC will bring up a prompt that will allow you to disconnect. This will put you back at the character creation screen. Select your character and click next. You should be able to get back ingame. If this doesn't work, try exiting SWGEmu and logging back in. If this doesn't work, the server is down, please try again later.

34. My client crashes to desktop and I get a text file in my SWGEmu that says "SWGEmu.exe-stage.111212-2006" "FATAL 4d962776"
- This is caused by your shortcut to SWGEmu.exe being incorrect.
- If you are using LPE, go to Options and check if the Emu location and Sorece location are correct.
- If you are using the shortcut created form EXE file itself, make sure you followed the connection guide provided by your admins correctly and updating your shortcut to display this in the target field: "C:\SWGEmu\SWGEmu.exe"
- Or if you are using swgemu.exe it may indicate that your client is not installed correctly
- Try updating your video card drivers. Some people have been able to get this working be fooling around with settings in the SWGEmu_setup.exe. Try selecting everything in the Graphics section of the SWGEmu_setup.exe or running it in Windowed mode.
- Hit the ALT button a couple of times before you hit ENTER and it wont go into fullscreen
- Also fix your full screen setting to the max of your monitor, that way the clients wont crash
37. SWGEMu_r stopped working; SWGEmu.exe: stage.119798; unknown location : FATAL 67f5f079: file write failed for profiles/username /Liberator/4968505409557_friend_data.iff
- If there is an empty space between your username and backslash like: ...username /... you need contact support, chances are your account wasnt created properly and you will need a new one.
- This could be a registry error. You can try to edit it and remove all reference to LPE in the registry or maybe try to install under a different profile if you have more of them.
- Copy everything from all your CD's to a single folder on your HDD and run the install from there.
- Try making an ISO image of your CD's and using that to install SWG client
- Use software that extracts data from damaged CD's (ISOBuster is a good example)
- Try to find someone that can resurface your CD's (used to be easy to find, now not so much)
- If all else fails, there are cheap sets of SWG CD's on e-bay
Please note, this is still work in progress so it is to be expected that things will be added or edited from time to time.
