Liberator Cloud mini test (round two) - 12/10/2011

OK folks its time for another mini test. Oru has tweaked the tool that is supposed to detect memory leaks, LordKator fixed the issue we had with the Cloud and we are ready for round two. Hopefully, this time, tool will do its job and detect those pesky memory leaks. Once those those leaks are detected they can be fixed to a degree, which means that devs can maybe add some of the things to the Liberator code that community suggested.

ATM memory leaks are the biggest obstacle that prevents us from moving Liberator to the Cloud permanently.

Once again, please log on to your LiberatorTest characters, run multiple instances, make new characters. Lets put that tweaked tool to good use and help developers fix those memory leaks.

PLEASE NOTE: LiberatorTest is already up and running,
has been all day. If necessary Regular Liberator will be taken offline tomorrow and it will stay offline until developers get the data they need.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

I know there have been tons of things that have been suggested by the community. Can you tell us which suggestions are being considered? I hope Cloud test is a success, I think this community could use a good update. I'll hop on when I can and test. Have anything that specifically that needs to be tested? Or just play the game as you normally would?

We can't say at this time what or what not will be able to be changed on LiberatorTest.

I have my two toons logged in, everybody join in....it is just regular gameplay, nothing special.

Nothing was changed in the code itself. Tool was tweaked and that about it. These tests are not about gameplay, devs are trying to find memory leaks and need your help. Once those are fixed and Lib ready to be moved to the Cloud, changes to the Lib code can be made.

Not saying those changes will be made, just saying that if any changes are to be made those memory leaks should be fixed first.

Cuz it's the safest place to test the leak finder... if something goes bonkers it's no great loss.. i'm guessin'...

We cant move Liberator to the Cloud without fixing some of those memory leaks first.
