    Its been years since I've looked into the project, at this point i'm not even sure if I want to touch it again until the finished state but I really wish the best of luck to the development team, with the spread of covid-19 I feel like a lot of people, myself included could use something like SWG again.
    Thanks Obama

    I know this is a bit late to the thread, but I do also want to say my thanks to all those who work on this project and getting it close to 1.0.
    I do have a question about it, if this is even the right place to ask...

    Will 1.0 still require the use of the original SWG disks like it does now? Or will it be completely separate at that point and they will no longer be needed?

    The serverside code is written to interact with the client installation. That will not change in 1.0. While we may add/remove features to the original game post 1.0, the underlying game is still installed from the client and is the IP of (now) ******/EA

    TL;DR - you will always need the disks.

    What did you expect? With all the enraged members posting their thoughts on the new ****** trilogy,
    the forum got it, the D-word is offensive, insulting to any Star Wars fans. :P

    @Jaws,

    Thank you, just wanted to make sure I shouldn't lose those disks.

    Yes, I think there is no reason to worry!
