Greetings! We will be holding the Basilisk 2020 Winter Olympics and Gala on Saturday Feb 8th and Sunday Feb 9th. We have taken your ideas from the other thread into consideration, tested them, and worked out which ones are doable. Unfortunately one of our favorite ideas (last man standing snowball fight) is just not able to be done. We spent many hours trying to work out a solution, and it just was not coming together.

Here's the events and times:

9 AM PST/12 PM EST/5 PM GMT: Bobsled Races

11 AM PST/2 PM EST/7 PM GMT: Resource Relay

2 PM PST/5 PM EST/10 PM GMT: ID & Tailor Show***

9 AM PST/12 PM EST/5 PM GMT: Squad Leader Straight Line Race***

11 AM PST/2 PM EST/7 PM GMT: Naked Battle to the Death***

2 PM PST/5 PM EST/10 PM GMT: Medal Ceremony and Gala featuring Entertainers on Ice

***We need 5 volunteers for these events. Please sign up below requesting the event you would like to judge.

How each of the events work:

Bobsled: X-34 race from starting point, to ending point. Groups of 5 will go at a time, fastest winner overall wins.

Resource Relay: Resources and a crafting tool will be given out at various waypoints. Fastest person to arrive at the finish line with the item to be crafted wins.

ID and Tailoring Show: THIS IS A TEAM EVENT! Each team will consist of an ID, a Tailor and a Model. You will be given 4 categories of styles to accomplish. Judges (volunteers) will assign a point value for how well each team accomplished the vision of the category. Team with the most points overall wins.

Squad Leader Straight Line Race: THIS IS ANOTHER TEAM EVENT: Each team will consist of a Squad Leader and a Racer. The team that has the runner cross the finish line first wins. Volunteers will be set up at various waypoints to assure no cheating.

Naked Battle to the Death: No armor, and Staff buffs against creatures of all strengths and sizes. Last Man standing wins. Volunteers will watch the combat logs for the last man and to assure no cheating.

Any questions? Let me know! Hope to see you guys there!
