    Death Watch Escape Event

Hi everyone! We are putting on a Death Watch event occurring throughout the weekend! Our first meet-up and takedown was a success. Again, I appreciate all the feedback, positive and negative that I have been seeing. Community input is very important to me!

Please watch your emails and other comms for updates on the whereabouts of the Death Watch.

We have 3 types of events:
    1. Pre-planned: These are, as the name implies, pre-planned. They are therefore announced via all channels well in advance to attempt to bring in as many players as possible
    2. On-the-Spot: Again, as the name implies, these are on-the-spot and can happen at any time, unannounced
      • The idea with these is that EC staff can throw something together quickly at a time that meets their timezone, which might allow better distribution
      • Also, due to the fact that Hakry and I have had rather aggressive work schedules as of late, we have had limited time available to throw something together
    3. Reward/Milestone: These are rare, designed to reward the community for achieving a particular goal
The Death Watch Escape event was an on-the-spot event, and therefore had very little time from conception to launch (if I recall correctly, it was less than 4 days). As a result, a one week notice wouldn't have been possible.

the event post should be before an event not after its done , where far from a 4 days noticed that would have been appreciated
I read the boards every morning please post here event a couple days before it happens so we can post on our guild Discord to participate and also there https://www.facebook.com/groups/2226999134/

Not every event is pre-planned to this extent. I will take your request into consideration for the next set of events. Thank you for your input.

For an 'on-the-spot' event spread throughtout the day (weekend?) lasting 40-60m per bout, it had a pretty good turn out, especially toward the end of the night.

    Appreciate the work.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Death Watch Escape Weekend events! We had a total of 6 events, with many dedicated players who were present over multiple times and planets, and many new names and faces! You guys chased the Death Watch all over the galaxy, from Talus to Lok and Rori to Naboo and Corellia and finally pushed them back into their bunker on Endor.

I have listened to your input, criticisms, encouragements and ideas. I appreciate those of you who have reached out to me. Please be aware that I am still grinding out Event Coordinator XP so I can't put every idea to use, yet, but have enjoyed everything I have read from you guys!

Please enjoy some screenshots from the remaining DWE Events:

    Lok:

    Rori:

    Naboo:

    Corellia:

    And finally, Endor:

***Thank you to Sigh-Ren, Sigedac and Tharkow for the screenshots.***

Awesome work Sugar. The amount of time and effort you have put in to learn what is needed to prepare an event, as well as deploy it, is outstanding. I am glad to see there was a good turnout and players had fun.

Thank you for all that were able to attend!
