I tried the rebel destroy mission. Went to the rogue corsec base and tried to search the storage crate. It did not give me the option to search it. I did not have the correct document in my inv beforehand. I think the storage crate is broken.

It's not broken, but the old guides have the wrong waypoint locations for a couple of the search-locations.

Also: whenever encountering anything 'radial' related, always do a quick soft-relog just in case it might just be de-sync related.
