edit: Just restarted Launchpad again and there was another update. All working now.

I've installed SWGEmu Launchpad and set the SWGEmu folder to: "C://SWGEmu/".
After starting the Launchpad there is a red hint above the progress bars that says: "Basic checks failed.".
If i press the button "Full scan" and press "Yes" at the following two dialogs (Warning to reset files to original state and restore the config files), it starts scanning and downloading.
While downloading the SWGEmu.exe an error message "Connection closed" appears - every time - After pressing "OK" the Launchpad stops patching.
Both buttons "Start" and "Full scan" are grey then.
What can i do to fix that problem?

i had kind of same problem. i just cant remember how to fix, bu i know its just one or 2 things . best is to reread the instructions again or wait for the don pepe who can aswer your question.

my main reason to post here right now is other:

just want to say that the new launchpad is realy "the bringer"!
it got everything had on LPE and it is faster in loading the client and game loads faster.
i dont know if it effects the playing. i noticed i have less ghostlogs (more time between the ghostlogs) wehn i launch with the new launchpad.

    NewSWGEmuLaunchpad > LPE & SWGEmu.exe

    1. What OS are you running, and are you starting launchpad as an administrator? Or are you running linux?
    2. Did you add launchpad to your firewall and anti-virus exception lists?

I'am running OS X 10.9 with Wineskin. Therefore: SWGEmu & Launchpad are thinking they're running on Windows XP as Administrator. There is no Firewall & no AntiVirus.

Apologies if this has been addressed but I can't locate the answer. When I installed the new launchpad I lost all of my in game configurations and macros. I looked for the user.cfg in my old installation but didn't find it. I'm currently running the game just off of the swgemu.exe and not using LPE. What do I need to do to get up and running with the new launchpad but not lose all of my configurations?

Hello, Please clarify for me........are we required to install the new launchpad??? If yes, how would we know that if we had no access to the forums and the other launchpad still works?
I have downloaded it but am a little leery about running it...so many people have had issues with it. Is is really necessary? I have a friend who has no access to the forums.
    Thanks in advance....

You don't HAVE to use the new launchpad, however, we will not be supporting LPE any longer in the very near future. So, if you end up having issues with your game you will likely need new launchpad to fix them.
