WHEN: November 23rd, 2013

Where: Location of event will be a surprise. Staff will pick a location and 30 minutes prior to start will broadcast it server wide. Be prepared to travel as we will move around our beautiful Galaxy.

Time: 10am, 3pm and 7pm CST

Rules and Guidelines:

1. This will be a PvE and a PvP event. We will do PvE first for those who do not PvP.
   
2. After the PvE event the "Live Event" badge will be given. If you already have it you will NOT get it again. The badges can not be repeated.
3. There will be no PvP until we say so. When we are ready for PvP the location will be given. Those that wish to PvP please send your toons name and profession to Niffer (email) so she can compile a list for the face offs. The PvP will be a 1v1 and the "Brave Soldier" badge will be given to the final winner. If you already have it you will NOT get it again, badges can not be repeated.
   
4. Events will be separated so we are not doing them both in the same location.
   
5. If you want your own Doc or Ent buffs you must supply them. We will carry on the event even if you are not ready. So do not expect us to wait.
   
6. You will follow the rules or you will be ported to a different location. No warning has to be given by the SWGEmu Staff member before this is done. You will receive one warning and if it continues you will be dismissed from the event.
   
7. There will be a break between event times for players to repair and get ready if they wish to participate in the next event time.

Things that will be provided:

• Area Buffs
• Area Heals
  
• Area Res
  
• Badge for "Brave Soldier" (Goes to final PvP winner)
• Badge for "Live Event" (for all PvE participators)

i agree 100% with full out PVP...but the 1v1 is hard to manage and would take a very long time if this event attracts a big crowd. maybe we could just keep it simple and do imps vs rebels with some NPC's to make things intresting...

I say you port everyone to mustifar remove all their skills give them a bag with 1 "weapon" in it and make them all overt to each other. Then say the last person standing gets the prize. Oh and add spots where if they are in them after a 5 min warning they die

Great fun had by all, critters to kill were thick, mean and spirited. Everyone had their own way to deal with the beasties. The dust, fog, flames, criss-crossing of weapon fire made a veritable wall of red. Creature and friend alike became invisible at times.

Looking forward to the next Developer/Staff EVENT. Niffer and helpers were excellent. Thanks everyone for a great time.

He just would not come back from Mustafar. He was having such a nice time playing over at Vlada's that I couldn't disturb that. Maybe we can get them to come out and play for the event.

For the PvE would Maskscent be made available so that I can attack a mob with my needle and hope to one-shot it?

EC's can spawn both types of mobs at their discretion. Event mobs have no loot, Regular mobs do have loot.

1. Alright here is what we will do. Plan on a full out PvP. When it is time we will announce a place for each faction to go. A recruiter will be at the locations. If you want more than Staff buffs then bring your own. The matches will start when we say and we will not wait. We will have 3 rounds and it will be posted galaxy wide who wins. The winning faction will receive The Brave Soldier badge.
2. If we do not have enough then it will be a 1v1 PvP. Again the winner will receive The Brave Soldier badge. If you want more than staff buffs then bring your own. Fighters will be separated into categorizes as you fight and who wins. Just know that this being a non-planned 1v1 it will take us a few minutes to get it set up. So everyone must be patient when the time comes.

For all who would like to have an event fill out this form and submit it. We will review it and let you know if we have any concerns or can not do the event that day. Everyone keep in mind the holidays are coming up and we are already booked up until the second week in December.
