I'm sure you could do that too, if you wanted. Ultgamer21 can correct me if I'm wrong, but what I believe they're doing is getting a bunch of people together in-game at a mock theatre, and all of those people will be responsible for getting their own feeds of the film, on TV or otherwise. The event is really about everyone there watching it together and having fun doing it.
