This is the biggest publish ever, and during some in the past servers where down a long time. Was mentioned to expect a really long down time, I've seen it up (locked for testing) they want to make sure the changes/merge stuck, and some new issues didn't arise.
The devs have done a wonderful job so far, as this is usually done in their free time, I just want to thank them for all they have done as well as taking time from their busy lives to give us that publish which fixes a lot of issues.

Also, as I recall, nee said there was some sort of funny backstory to the naming of pub8.

I came up with the name, Ivo adjusted it. A big part of the update is bases and combat. The original game was called An Empire Divided, its played of that.

Yes and they are all characters owned by staff and CTs. You can't become a Jedi on Nova through the village just yet

The SSDs were upgraded, the code was upgraded but unfortunately the data upgrade failed around 3 hours in. Fixing an issue with that and will restart the data upgrade.

Im estimating for the data upgrade to take at least 8 hours if no more issues arise.
