That depends on if you have 32bit XP (x86) or 64bit XP(x64). I'd hazard a guess that you probably need the x86 (32bit) version. Yes it does matter, since the x64 one won't install on an x86 system.

    worst thing ever.
LPE IS broke though. It breaks quite often, and causes tons of issues.

This update screwed my launchpad not even a fresh dowload works all i received is a forbbiden error everywhere. Now i am stuck and I can't play. The mediafire.com site works but upon installation doesn't do anything

    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /setup.exe on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

This change kinda freaked me out!

I just set up SWGEMU yesterday and at one point the LPE stopped working. Alright, no biggie, issues expected with this sort of thing, so I just ran the game client manually and played to my little heart's content.

Today I decided to run the repair on the LPE, see if that fixed things - well (as you all may well know) it deleted the SWGEMU executables, and wouldn't download new stuff! Crap!

So I rebooted my computer (#1 Windows fix ever , still didn't work. I opened up my browser and the launcher instructions are totally different! Freakin-a! So it was pretty obvious what happened, and I confirmed it when I found this thread. I'm setting up the new launcher now even though I know the old is fixable and all should be well.

    Still, freakin-a!
