Lyl they were at 50gb around 4:30pm, so its actually 4.5 hrs for 45gb, roughly 7 hrs more would be closer to correct, id say at most hopefully 9 am tomorrow.

Ok so 4.5 hrs for 45GB. that's 10 hrs for 100GB. that's 34 total hrs. Roughly 10pm EST Tomorrow night then.

EDIT2: OK, update on the DB reload... Yes its not a backup its a reload, (<~TheAnswer> just dump | load) to get some free space on the drive. Anyway, we are at 95GB out of 340GB so this will last way longer than 12 hours, probably closer to 24 hours.

just dusted off the game and re-installed after a buddy told me about SWGEMU. bummer that the server is down but now im foaming at the mouth all the more to get in and start. TO THE DEVS: MANY THX for making this happen. one of the best games ever in this medium. nice to see that the whining L33t mouthed generation WoW'ers may have won the battle years ago with SOE but not the war with SWGEMU today!
looking forward to gaming with y'all
p.s. OFF TOPIC: original EQ (another great ol' game) has a similar thing goin as well. for all those who may be interested; project99.org

First off, I'd like to be one of the few that say thank you for the maintenance.

Secondly, anyone who complains about this should uninstall immediately and/or just calm down. The best online sandbox game is back. Enough said. Don't make me come to your house over a Star Wars game (That's a joke for those who can't handle it).

My 8 friends and I are extremely appreciative of SWGEmu developers. All the best to guys from the Doodles, Serpovichs, and anyone else in Jeckel's Elite!!!
