Really should have just wiped the server, it so badly in need of a wipe. It really should be getting wiped every 3-4 years anyway, almost all the cities are just ghost towns.

Can't you all do popups for posts? Like, I remember when I signed up for the forums, I got a popup to check some specific post. When I asked later about something that was addressed in that post, instead of answering it, some mod apparently reset that popup on my login. lol

Can you please confirm if duped resources are involved? That can be the only reason I have house, factories and harvesters marked. This could only be from the purchase of ore and steel, the life blood of architects.

After the initial wave of things becoming No Trade, like ADK/CFR, those were instantly sent to the stockroom rather than remaining in the sales listing. These should act the same way.

I spent MONTHS on the code that identifies the dupes, it's 1300 lines of code and the overall system is 10,000 lines of code.

I've checked it over and over, ran the code against TC-Prime and did literally 100's of spot checks.

And yours particularly was interesting being 1 of all the other items so I looked at it, not a false positive, sorry.

I'm not worried about the garage deed itself. They're cheap, and it's not sentimental, so I can just get another (if I don't have one laying around already.) It just seems odd to me. I guess he could have made it with duped resources or something and didn't know? I just don't understand why someone would dupe a single garage, but not a lot of them.

I also know identifying this stuff wasn't a casual effort, I didn't mean to imply that. I imagine no system would be perfect, given the complexity due the volume and the years and years of changes in production. I'm a Systems Admin and I've been working with databases for a bit over a decade now, so I'm aware of how complex it can get. Obviously I'm ignorant of the specifics here. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around some of these things and make sense of it.

Not that I can see if they are placed. I had two wearables factories that I just pulled and they are flagged. Same goes for buildings. A placed building will show the name in the email and if it is unique you can determine which building. I have a small tatooine house like this now that I need to empty.

Question: What about city structures? For example, if a city hall was crafted with duped components or resources will the city hall be destroyed in 14 days? Or any other civic structures?

If a dupped item is on a vendor, would it still actively be listed and if so would the potentially buyer be able to see if it had been marked when examined?
