Fine machine but Intel just released the 6950x. So you are out of date. Might I recommended the 950 Samsung also.

You can play swg on a toaster, you don't even need a video card at all (other than the built in one)
This game was developed for systems that were around in 2003.
A $50 rig from a pawnshop running windows 98 will run it just fine.

It's true that SWG was optimized to run on older machines. However, it was designed to exceed the hardware limits of it's age. Through the years of testing the game, even in the Core 2 Duo era of Intel processors, I found the game would have problems with fluidity. I can tell you with each system I build my performance is better and better. More power is always better right?

    Not really,

An instance of swg takes less than 250K of ram and almost zero processor.

It's interesting how so many of us are eager to play this amazing game despite the fact that we still have a ways to go. We will never give up the goal of Pre cu.

I just wanted to speak up to cheer the dev team on for their hard work on the update, and fixing the errors today. You're the real heroes.

I played SWG back in the day and was pushed out with a lot of others after the NGE BS. Just wanted thanks guys for taking SWG back to its original game and I will support anything you guys decide to do as long we get back Jedi and JTL. Great works and good luck on the future of SWG.

I wish someone gave an update on the publish, what are the problems? what will be the way taken to solve those problems? etc. This way we would'nt be speculating this much.

Problem is it's a new publish and there are problems.
You get that Basilisk is a test server and we are testing?
