Looks like it may be affecting trainers also. Gorath on Tattooine is missing all the entertainer ones right outside the baby doll bantha cantina. And only two (ranger and pikeman) are visible by city hall. Medical trainers are also accessible.

Check again on those. I thought they were missing last night, but after hard logging, they were still there.

Honestly not trying to salt wounds, but give more data points. All of my vendors, placed in pub 6 and also pub 7 are up and running fine (I/O on tatooine). All vendors have all items.

In the I/O - the shuttle is invis. though, and I bet larek put it down a dog's age ago. Interestingly, all his trainers, which he lost and had to replace because he forgot to stock his treasury about 2 mo. ago, ARE visible.

Thanks for the work you're having to pour into this one guys. Honestly - don't ruin your christmas (holidays?) for us SWG nerds.

hm. I placed my shuttle in Sept '15, it's fine. I placed my vendor in Feb '15, it's fine. looking at people's posts it seems it's older stuff that's poofing... maybe there's some little line somewhere that puts a max size on the database... and it's cropping the list

I wish the SWGEmu Dev team well in fixing this. Berkeley DB scares the hell out of me, and rightly so.

WHAT? BERKELEY is flawless! SWGEMU never has issues with Berkeley... and doesn't rollback due to DB issues.


p.s. let us know if you need help recovering data... we have learned the HARD way how to recover from Berkeley DB issues (eventhough we have been told Berkeley isn't an issue and it's pure awesome-sauce.

We have never had issues with berkeley, and actually it saved our asses lots of times because of the ability to rollback to any point in time.

This is bug is in our own code.. but you keep blaming your mistakes on BDB, (a database that has been in production for more than 20 years in thousands of projects).

Almost all trainers in LtR are also still missing. The ones placed before pub 6 are gone and the ones placed since then are ok.
