are there any good reasons for why we can't login when LIB is up but NOVA isn't?

Please don't post about server status here.
And please... Stay on topic.

I'm so excited to get back into game.. I get off work at 6 est time, and you can bet your pretty penny I'm driving 90 mph home to get online (I here by realize that my driving is in no way caused by SWG, my actions are of my own *this disclaimer is for SWGEMU staff).
Hardward upgrades, seperate login servers for Nova and Lib...oh my.
Epic GG to TheAnswer and the rest of the devs. Thanks!
IGNs: Rincon, Miramar.
SWG: A sandbox MMO based around the Star Wars franchise that spawns communities with more drama than the Jersey Shore.
You know I was wondering what kind of specs the servers had good to here. That is some expensive equipment but wow great choices hope they work for a long time!!
Awesome news! Keep up the great work
Liberator was up for well over a day before it was reset and I saw no real lag other than an occasional hiccup.
Seems the new hardware is working well.
edit. maybe spoke to soon.

So, can we get an update on these server upgrades?
The upgrades for Nova and Liberator are still dated for 2/14 and we know you had technical issues with it....so it was delayed
But now it has been reposted with old dates and info....
Also, the upgrades for the website, forums, etc...
Again, saw there was an issue, but no update?
Has any of the upgrades been completed?
Are you just re-posting to make people aware?

I assume that the limiting factor is more on the read/write speed of the disks now than on the processors? Is that more or less true now? If so, and given the advance in wear levelling for SLC/MLC nand would it be feasable to start thinking about going with that as a storage solution over standard drives? could they last long enough to be worth it? I realize that 1.5 tb of nand would run approx $4-5,000, but if we started saving up now we could probably get there in a year or so? I also assume that a ramsan 400 would be out of the question?
