If this truly is a hardware issue. Then I think it us up to us (the players) to do something about it.

I personally don't know much about server hardware, but 2.00ghz seems prehistoric to me. My computer is currently running at 4.6 ghz.

Maybe we could do an in-game event, like a booster or a fundraiser. With pledges or something. We could hold a marathon gaming session, and have 10-15 players play, and the others will make pledges per hour played.

Example
10 players played for 20 hours.
1 pledge per player of 10cents.
(20h * .10c ) * 10= 20$


With 10 players playing and 1000 .10 cent pledges, and 20 hours played.... That's 2000$ roughly at a cost of 2$ per pledge.

It is on the low end, but this could be a big thing for us. And even start to get more players/programmer/developers out of it.
We could stream it on twitch or other gaming channels. As well has host a chat for people who are watching to comment.
