Actually, Lib-T hasn't been wiped, just stopped, so all toons that have been sampling resources do have materials for building vehicles and things like that, but don't expect player crafted T21s or items with really specialized materials.

EDIT: Is Lib-T online right now? I can't seem to be able to connect to it. On second thought, I'll go check to IRC and pester any online admins...

I Logged on to test and the rubber banding was pretty fun. Ever have a dream where you're running down a long hallway and it never seems to end, and just when you think your at the end and see the door, bam, your back at the start. I'm sure you'll get it working, I look forward to trying again later.

If you find the rubberbanding fun, try it with a vehicle on a desertic part of Tattoine. The "dejà vu" is... intense. Specially when you THINK you're cresting the same dune for fifth or sixth time.
