Why is disease lethal? Wouldn't poison make more sense?

Is there a delay in the return of the lost vendor items from publish 7? Waiting on the server to be stable for that to happen? I am currently logged in and don't see anything different.

It was good till now, left the pc for a bit when I come back I was connecting to the galaxy, but it wont just load back.
