Basilisk End of the Year Event - Oasis Escape

So I see this in the promo for the event: Imperial PVE & PVP combatants report to Imperial Oasis Compound at wp -5288 2682.

I am unfamiliar with this event. What does a PVE combatant bring to the event? I only do PVE so don't want to hold back the pvpers or diminish the event if it is primarily a pvp event.

We will do a briefing before event starts to cover the goals, but throughout the event duration we have something planned out for everyone: faction special forces, faction combatants, neutral PVE players, and social players. So bring whoever you like, you will not hold anyone back
