Voicing Your Concerns:

You can voice your concerns, or give us any feedback you may have by sending an email to complaint@swgemu.com.

SWGEmu accounts are used to access the SWGEmu network, including but not limited to: the SWGEmu forums, website, test center(s), and bug tracker. All SWGEmu users must comply with the following rules with respect to their SWGEmu account:

1.1 Multiple SWGEmu accounts are not permitted. Each user may have only one account per household unless pre-approved by our staff. Measures are incorporated to detect multiple user accounts. Please see the Account Issues Policy (https://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28) for help.

1.2 Users under the age of 13 may not create an account to access the SWGEmu network.

1.3 If you are banned, you are not permitted to connect to the SWGEmu network using an alternate account. You may contact the SWGEmu staff to discuss the nature of your ban and its duration by connecting to live-chat on the SWGEmu website or submitting a ticket to support.swgemu.com (http://support.swgemu.com/). If you feel your ban has been issued unfairly, send an email to complaint@swgemu.com with an appeal.

1.4 It is not permitted to buy or sell SWGEmu accounts. Everything here is provided at no charge; there is no need to pay for any portion of the SWGEmu experience. Do not give your password to anyone. Compromised accounts will be permanently banned.

1.5 Account names and all subsequent user and character names must be appropriate or they will be banned.

In the interest of maintaining a constructive environment for everyone, all users of the SWGEmu forums and website should follow these guidelines:

2.1 Do not transmit or facilitate distribution of content (including images or videos) that is:

Racially offensive
Sexually offensive
Ethnically offensive
Overtly sexual
In addition to 2.1:

2.2 Do not re-post deleted or closed threads or posts

2.3 Do not post advertisements or ad spam

2.5 Do not impersonate another person including celebrities, SWGEmu staff members, or any other community representatives

2.6 Do not promote the use of illegal SWGEmu clients. Any proven use of an illegal SWGEmu client will result in a ban

2.7 Do not attempt to: interfere with, hack into, or disrupt functionality of any SWGEmu network servers; post links or upload files containing a virus or malicious data

2.8 Do not promote the use of any third party software for the purpose of automating a character or characters in game

2.9 Do not post false R.I.P. threads or "goodbye" threads or posts for temporarily or permanently banned users. Do not post a "mic-drop" thread if you are departing the project

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW SWGEmu Based Server Section Rules and Polices (https://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=161687)

Additional guidelines:

Respect each other. It's okay to argue, but settle flame wars in private messages
Respect all SWGEmu staff
Use only English to communicate publicly; other languages may be used in private messages and forums groups
Do not repeatedly submit the same post
Refrain from posting about server status. For fairly correct server info use our front page gadget at www.swgemu.com (https://www.swgemu.com/).
Do your best to post in appropriate sections
Do not promote or advertise other SWGEmu or non-SWGEmu based servers on our forums in any other section than the one designed for that very purpose (https://www.swgemu.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=198). To do so, please follow the guidelines posted in the sticky thread in that section (https://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36265). Any posts outside that section or not in accordance with our guidelines will be deleted. Keep in mind that re-posting deleted content is already regulated by our website and forum guideline 2.2
In situations where interpretation, implementation, or specific application of a rule is called into question, SWGEmu staff will provide guidance and ruling. Forum/game users may file an appeal to said ruling by submitting a ticket to support.swgemu.com (http://support.swgemu.com/) or sending an email to complaint@swgemu.com. All submissions will be reviewed by senior SWGEmu staff
When posting large pictures use a spoiler BBcode
SWGEmu staff reserve the right at all times (but have no obligation) to remove or refuse to distribute any content on any SWGEmu services, as well as prevent access by any user or reclaim user names
Forums signature recommended size is 500 x 250. Due to forum mechanics, please refrain from making signatures taller than 250px
These rules are subject to change at any time
