TC:Nova Update 02/06/2011

The following update has been added to the TC: Nova server:

Primitive random creature spawning (http://trac2.assembla.com/swgemu/changeset/2861)

Creatures are spawning in groups now, on every planet. They are totally random, so beware if you come across some Rancor spawns on Lok or Naboo.

Everyone is invited to login to TC: Nova and help us test this update to creatures, and spawning.

As always with any testing, please report any found bugs to Bug Tracker (Mantis) (http://www.swgemu.com/bugs/)


NOTE: Please don't report creatures with broken names or creatures whose appearance is wrong, we have a full list of those creatures already. Thank you.

Rancors on Naboo, you know that just seems awesome. I don't know about Krayts spawning everywhere though. I can just imagine a starship with a baby rancor crashing on the plains of Naboo. :D. Nice work!

Nice to see the next phase of updates being implemented. Just got to start Bug reporting again and wow there are some beauties being reported!

LOL my wife didn't realize the random spawns were happening. Needless to say, it was fun hearing her scream as the Krayt dragon chased her into cnet while tearing her swoop to shreds haha.

We just started playing yesterday. You guys have really done a awesome job; thank you so much for this!

To make things easier, frog buffs have been made slightly more powerful and now last much longer :)

Found out about this update when I logged in and got pounded into the ground by a rancor outside my house on Corellia!! LOL

Going great guys. I'm going to put up some youtube videos soon and try to get more attention to the emulator. I'm also commenting alot on other sites, getting the site name out there. Wish the server was up right now, it won't let me log in at all even on liberator when core 3 is down, so i'll just play more fallout NV! :)

I like how I'm building up huge trains of mobs and just leaving a string of corpses in a nice little run. Great fun, wish my testing buddy was around i'd like to see the size we could handle two man.

I just made a new toon on Naboo, took off out of town and ran smack into a Rancor, a Kimoglia and a few other non-Naboo type creatures. Was not pretty my swoop died a horrid death and I had to run back to Theed. It just kept exploding. Not sure if the creatures did it or what.
