New Years Eve Jump to Lightspeed Stress Test

Come join the SWGEmu Staff for an exciting peek at Jump to Lightspeed and help us stress test major changes on our test server TC: Prime.
The SWGEmu team would like to invite everyone to participate in a stress test of the JTL Expansion. We have elaborated in the past that the blockers for JTL required major changes to how we track items in a three-dimensional space. These changes are now implemented and functional, but they need to be stressed in many different ways by as many people as possible. That means we don't just need everyone in space, we need everyone to play and stress the entire game, including with preexisting ground elements.
Keep in mind, your characters and items were copied to TC:Prime as of this week and are available for this test.
We need your help to test on Sunday, this includes the following:
Check your lots, make sure items are where they are supposed to be, vendors are loading and items are recoverable and buyable
Place down houses, place items, vendors, put things up for sale
Run missions, fight NPCs and players
Put in factory runs of items, place down harvesters
You will have access to an updated Blue Frog in every major city, this includes every loot drop from JTL and every ship with a very generic loadout.
Crafting is mostly functional, with the exceptions of Droid Interfaces, Repair Kits, and Ship Color Kits and Reverse Engineer Kits
You can and we highly advise you to craft a few ships, both to test the ground functions involved but also the recent additions of Chassis Dealers, who will take your blueprints and give you a ship, at a cost
Space Combat is largely functional, including missiles, bombs, chaff and the ammo for all those launcher types. These are not on the frog, but will be available
Space will be empty, space AI is fairly new and spawns have not yet been set up. You will see some, but they will be hand spawned by Staff
Hyperspace in space, and Travel on the ground are working
We will keep the server running till early morning on January 1st, 2024. Hope to see you here!
