Come join the SWGEmu Staff for a brawl on Tatooine!

The sand dunes of Tatooine hide little from view, as the Galactic Civil War has gone hot on this desert planet. Both the Empire and the Rebellion continue to wage war, contesting both cities and bases sprawled across the arid regions of this far-flung Outer Rim planet. Do your part for the Empire, or for the Rebel Alliance and brace yourselves for an all-out brawl!

If you interested in joining up with either side, some players have offered to help out those who want to take part.

If you are interested in the Empire, contact in-game Juyn, SirPauly or ThaKool.
If you're interested in the Rebellion, contact in-game Anza or Veroandi.

Locations for both sides will be given out over in-game broadcasts on the event day itself.

If you are new to pvp your survivability will largely depend on your ability to clear damage over time effects (DoTs), characters with at least 3xxx doc are strongly encouraged, but everyone is encouraged to participate.

This is a good thing. And I assume, Imperials are as excited as we are on the rebel side to provide an opportunity for fresh blood to join the PvP groups.
PvP is a competative thing, obviously and for Basilisk with it's history and uptime, in this stage usually a narrow margin to play in as far as templates and gear are concerned.

That being said, for a fun event like this, we want to help prepare interested players as best as we can on the template they chose to bring out. So for those who consider joining as rebels, please reach out to Anza and myself in a mail ingame and we take things from there.

The sooner you reach out, the more time we have to sit down with you and help sorting gear and macros out as everyone's playtime and credits permit.

PS: Faction to flip the toon you would like to play to rebel is not an issue.

EDIT: For the event coordinators, please, make this happen on a saturday night next time. Waking up at 2am to join a fight on a Sunday/Monday night for us Euro-players, is real hard.
