How do I increase/decrease my faction standing with the Rebellion and gain/loose faction points? What good are faction points anyway? You can "buy" things with the faction points you accumulate. You can check how many faction points you have by opening the Cntrl-C character screen. Conversing with a Rebel Recruiter will allow you to "cash in" these faction points, but you have to maintain at least a 200 faction point positive balance, and you cannot spend yourself below that 200 point amount. Certain categories of perks rewards, such as Rebel NPC pets and weapons/armor, are only available to Overt faction members. Here are some of the available items. Rebel NPCs, which function as pets. Several types of Rebel Soldiers are available. See the beta manual for a list of pet commands and how to use pets. I have heard factional pets are still buggy at the moment, and they also may not be storable. The Devs has also stated that there are some territorial faction perks in development. These include the ability to place covert detectors that will cause a TEF on covert members of the enemy faction that approach them. The ability to place down HQs that act as spawners of NPCs for your side, provide faction recruiters, and provide mission terminals. Ability to place turrents that auto-attack TEF and overt enemies. Misc. Tips |
