you can make it as long as you want and u might need to change the pauses for how long it takes for your action and mind to use up and regenerate.

Sample more then 1 Resource Posted @ Wed, Sep 29th 3:20 PM 2004 By: Etapor 2 posts Score: Decent [3.00] I came up with a macro to Sample more then 1 resource in the area. It works great the way it is but Im sure it can be tweeked to suit your needs. First Create a Macro with the name Sample. If you do not know how to create a macro this is how. Press Ctrl + A This will bring up your Command Browser. Click on Macro. Click on Add Here is where you want to Name your macro .. Name this new Macro .. Sample Pick an Icon Now here is where you put in the macro /ui action toolbarSlot00; <<This will select the F-Key you have the Survey Device assigned to. /pause 5; << Time to tell the Survey Device what you want to sample. /ui action toolbarSlot00; << Closes the Survey window /sample; /pause 300; << # of seconds you want to survey /stand; /pause 300; << # of seconds you want to Heal /ui action toolbarSlot01; << This will select the F-Key you have the 2nd Survey Device assigned to. /pause 5; << Time to tell the Survey Device what you want to sample. /sample; /pause 300; << # of seconds you want to survey /stand; /pause 300; << # of seconds you want to Heal /macro Sample; << Loops Macro Ok here is what you want to do .. Your F-Keys Rance from 00 - 11 for the frist row So put a Survey Device, like a Mineral Survey Device, in 00 or F-1 Put a second Survey Device, like a Chemical Survey Device in 01 or F-2 Now Place your Macro you just created in 02 or F-3 Now Go out and take some surveys .. Survey for Mineral and Chemical .. when you find an area with High Samples of each, you are ready to begin your Sampling. Press your F-3 key .. to begin your Macro. Now Sit back and watch your Resources add up. Remember ... Sample in an area where you will not be attacked. Hope this helps.. Mine is as follows: /sample; /pause 5; /sit; /pause 50; /stand; /pause 5; /ui action toolbarSlot18; The pauses are short enough to get maximum samples, yet long enough to allow me to regen my action/mind. Also, it should be noted that you must survey for a certain resource, and then this "sampling macro" will sample the last resource you surveyed for. But instead of using it in a town i am building a camp were i use it and get the survival XP, if im not AFK im crafting at the same time.                                         ---------------------------- Emoaw 1 Reply  RE: Tightening up the macro Posted @ Wed, Aug 4th 11:21 AM 2004 By: BHDuke Scholar 24 posts Score: Decent [3.00] Thats the way it works using a camp if you can't craft one ask your M[BH (he has scout skills) or a Ranger or even a simple scout out of your Guild and ask him for a BasicCamp I have to stress this because if not you will not be able to set it up ! and then if you have a pet Not a Droidbecause the droid runs out of power tell the pet to guard you while in action with teh survey. also works very well is KEEP the powerfullest weapon equiped you ahve , because if your pet gets in trouble and a whole bunch of bad insects spamming around the camp you auto matically start to fight ! once the fight is over the computer will take back the maco of you survey !
