    Hello! So you want a CRAFTING MACRO FOR GRINDING XP do you? Well I have one here that I used that got me Master Doctor Crafting in 4 or 5 hours!
    I crafted while waiting for shuttles, for other players to get ready for a hunt, running to a waypoint, when I had nothing else to do....this macro is easy to start
    and stop and can be used anytime!

    First off you need to know what you are going to grind. In my example I used a 01 which is in your datapad under the SCHEMATICS tab as an Advanced
    Biological Effect Controller. The reason why I grinded this was because I got 80-100XP per prototype which when experimenting with other "lesser" items like
    a normal BEC - I got less XP -50 or 60 or something - which basically means more time grinding!

    So to figure out what it is you want to grind, go to your datapad (CTRL-D) and go to the SCHEMATICS tab and count from right to left starting at 00, 01, 02,
    03..... Now this is how I was told to do it but I found it did not work and I had to experiment until I found what items I wanted to grind. Of course I settled on a
    aBEC for good XP.

    Now here is a very iportant part before we even make the macro - RESOURCES! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RESOURCES FOR YOUR SCHEMATIC and
    ENOUGH RESOURCES TO CRAFT A LONG TIME so you are not running around collecting stuff and wasting time! Also - DON'T USE YOUR BEST RESOURCES
    TO GRIND! LOL I can't stress this enough - I guess that you could use good resources but you are STUPID if you do... enough said about that... =o)

    Hint: Try to only have your resources in your inventory so that when the crafting station is asking for your resources you can click-click on each of your resources
    without scrolling up and down in your resources. Put excess stuff into a pack or something.. just a hint.. do what you want! =o)

    Now we need to make the macros - CTRL-A and then select the macro tab.
    Click on new macro and type in the following (DO NOT include my comments <<< comment):
    Now the reason I use 7 macros is because it gives the stations time to complete the previous thing you made and you won't end up getting stuck running into other
    macros.

    Note: THIS IS CASE SENSITIVE!

    /ui action toolbarSlot12; <<< Selects the crafting staion
    /selectDraftSchematic 01; <<< Selects the schematic you want to craft (01 is Adv BEC)
    /pause 5; <<< Pause 5 seconds to allow you to select resources
    /nextCraftingStage; <<< Advances to next crafting stage automatically
    /nextCraftingStage; <<< Advances to next crafting stage automatically
    /createProtoType practice no item; <<< Creates the prototype as a PRACTICE (+5% XP/item)
    /createPrototype practice no item; <<< Creates the prototype as a PRACTICE (+5% XP/item)
    /pause 3; <<< Pause 3 seconds for some reason but it is needed
    /ui action toolbarSlot01; <<< Selects the next macro

    Ok so now we save it and we have to make other macros pointing to the next toolbar item - trust me you will understand in the end. So make another macro:

    Make 7 macros changing the numbers to activate the next toolbar item until the last one - this one we have to LOOP the macro so we will be aiming at the
    beginning toolbar slots. Check it out:

    So with all the 7 macros made we can now create 7 crafting stations - in my case I have made 7 food and chemical stations to be used in the macro.

    Now we need to have an open toolbar that is an open tool bar (1 of 6) that does not have anything in it or one that you are willing to use for your crafting
    macro. I use toolbar 6 - the following is how the toolbars are numbered for when you are typing in the macro commands (incase you were wondering):

    f1-f2-f3-f4-f5-f6-f7-f8-f9-...etc

    00-01-02-03-04-05-06-07-08-09-10-11
    12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20-21-22-23

    First we place the macros into the toolbar (By dragging and dropping from the macro tab in CTRL-A):

    Place Craft1 in 00, Craft2 in 01, Craft3 in 03...etc until you have all 7 of the crafting macros across the top row (00 -> 06)

    Now to place the crafting stations into the toolbar (By dragging and dropping from your inventory):

    Place one crafting station in 12, one crafting station in 13, one crafting station in 14...etc until you have all 7 of the crafting stations in the bottom row (12 -> 18)

    NOW TO USE THE MACRO!! To activate the macro you have to go to the toolbar that has this setup on it and then to start - you simply press F1 or click on 00
    to start the crafting stations. It will start going through the crafting stations asking you to double click on the resources needed to make the object!

    Note: If you fail to enter in both resources.. or all of them - you will LOSE already entered items in your schematic. So make sure you have plenty of
    resources and have it easy to access for clicking on!!

    This macro will loop and loop and loop and loop until you type in the chat line /dump !!!

    /dump will stop the crafting stations from doing the next commands and may complete the current macro entered in the queue. You are then able to do what
    you have to... talk or search for resources or whatever..

    Note: While you grind, chatting and going through your inventory is not recommended because you want to GRIND XP and get this done and over
    with. Plus you do not want to lose resources and whatnot by not entering them into the schematics.

      Hi.. I am having problems getting this macro to work..

      I have made my 7 macros and the first one is fine.. here is what happens:

      I type in /macro craft1  <<< To start my macro
      It Opens Up The First Box As I want it to..
      I put in my resources like i want it to
      It closes it and it works fine..

      The next one opens but it doesnt select the schematic i want... It doesnt select a schematic at all.. so i click on the one i want and then put in materials.. nothing happens still..

      It is as though the macro has just stopped..

      Can you tell me why this is happening? And How Do I Make it Work..

      /i did the macro and it works fine, but my crafting stations don't open autimacticly! I have to open them myself after each one finishes. Can anybody tell me why this is happening?

        Make sure that the first line of your macro is
        /ui action toolbarSlot00 or 01 or 02...
        The final number of this line must refer to the toolbar slot in which your crafting device is contained. So remember to place your crafting device in a toolbar slot, and ensure the first line of your macro points to it.

      Alright.  Let me type everything out for you on this macro:

      /ui action toolbarSlot12;
      /selectDraftSchematic01;
      /pause 5;
      /nextCraftingStage;

      /createPrototype practice no item;
      /pause 3;
      /ui action toolbarSlot01;

      Now let's go through this step by step.

      You press the F1 key.

      /ui action toolbarSlot12; ---->Your crafting TOOL opens.

      /selectDraftSchematic29; ----->29, in the Weapon, droid, and generic crafting tool, is the muzzle. At Engineering I, it had the highest difficulty with 14, and only uses 6 minerals, and 4 chemicals. So choose something with a higher difficulty, in order to make more xp. Okay... this command chooses that schematic, and opens up the assembly window.

      /pause 5; ---->In the assembly window, you double click on your resources. That is all. DO NOT CLICK ASSEMBLE! Remember. This command TAKES 5 SECONDS! give it time, alright? Just double click your resources, and leave it alone.

      /nextCraftingStage;
      /nextCraftingStage;
      /nextCraftingStage;
      /createProtoType practice no item;
      /createPrototype practice no item;

      -------> These commands press the assemble button, and click through the little windows, but YOU WONT SEE IT DO IT! It goes too fast for your computer to take the time to throw up the windows, and show you menial stuff you don't have to worry about! Isn't that nice of it? =) Now, </createPrototype practice no item> command. What this does, is it boosts your xp gain, and doesn't physically "craft" the item. You craft it, but it doesn't hit your inventory. It uses up your resources, but think of it like this: You're trading in the item, for a boost in xp.

      /pause 3;
      /ui action toolbarSlot01

      This finishes the macro for that particular button. It SHOULD say: "Crafting command closed" or whatever it says. You WONT see the xp gain, you WONT see "you crafted this". What you WILL see, if done right, is a little timer on your crafting tool up on your macro bar. Starts off on 27 or so, and counts down by increments of 5 or so. It then automatically pops open the next assemble window. Check your xp gain by looking at your skills window (alt+S). Look under "Artisan" (or whatever your crafting profession is), and Engineering II (or whatever the skill is for what you're making). If you see a FULL GREEN BAR, that means your xp is maxed, and you need to go and see your trainer to learn that skill, and proceed to the next level of Engineering, which is Engineering III. Then IV. And so on.

      So in short:

      Press F1.
      Assemble window pops open.
      Double click required resources. See them load.
      After 5 seconds since it opened, Assemble window will close.
      "Crafting Command Closed" (or something) will pop up.
      See the little timer on your crafting tool on your macro bar!
      Next Assemble window pops open.
      Double click your resources.
      Window closes.
      "Crafting Command Closed"
      See the little timers! [17] [27]
      Next assemble window pops open
      Double click your resources.
      Window Closes.
      "Crafting Command Closed"
      See the little timers! [7] [17] [27]

      and so on, and so forth...

      I just made the macro last night. Let me add this to all I've already said:

      /ui action toolbarSlot12; (notice: NO SPACES between tool, bar, slot, or 12. It's ALL ONE WORD!)
      /selectDraftSchematic29; (Error on the posted macro. The spaces on there are wrong. It's either no spaces, or a space between select and Draft. Try it out.)

      /nextCraftingStage; (I didn't even try two. I saw the one guy having problems with 2, and saw that one guy have 3 on his post, so I just put in three. 2 may work, but I KNOW 3 works. ;) )

      And that's it! Please excuse my lack of DEFINITES on a couple things, like what it says "Crafting Command Closed" or whatever. I'm at work on lunch, and not at my computer, so I can't go and take a look at it. ;)

      I have a hard time getting my Cm Crafting done and this may help buti don't get any xp for my crafting SO what can I do !!!!! i only use resorces up and don't get xp. And a other question Do I need food & Chemical crafting Tools or do I need StationsPLZ help me I need to grind 100K in crafting Xp so by ahnd that would eb terrible.  Something else The schematic thing! well as I understand first of all I have to make a item and instead of making it I have to do a schematic ...right? so that I can recall her later in my D-Pad. as you said from right to left. I have also a Fighting afk macro with a little spin ! If someone has soem questions about that ! just send me a tell and I will help you on that.

      I used one macro it works you must only doubble click the recorsess it is importet that there are 3 times /nextCraftingStage and it is working like

        Two things i have noticed with the Macro:

          A. Its an excellent way to gain the crafting experience that is needed, but it is not full auto (meaning that you will need to add rescoruces to the crafting tool), i have used it to complete MCM / MD / MA, and currently weaponsmith.

        B. Works best if your away from any crafting stations or droids, these will make the macro act really funny. They have a tendency to (with the ability to add expermintation to the product), to make the macro end prematurly.

        Also realize that the "selectDraftSchematic 01;" may need to be modified to meet your needs, for example i used 13 for advanced biological effect controler as a combat medic and doctor, i used 26 as an artisan for the personel: Gas harvesters, and i am using 57 for the weaponsmith. I also had to change the pause time for each.

        Some of the problems i have had with this are adding the camel casing to the macro "selectdraftschematic" (improper), "selectDraftSchematic" (proper).

        Double check all the code for the macro, if it help print it out and re-type it in, its a wonderfull piece of code and works wonders for amounting the exp needed to actually craft something worth while.

        If that doesnt work i am unsure to where the problems lies.

      Having limited success with this. The /nextCraftingStage; command doesn't seem to work, although the rest does.

      Also, you might want to add the manual steps in, I.E. not only do you need to select resources, but you also need to click Assemble.

        When you count for resources, ONLY count Organic and InOrganic resources. No weapons, armour or any other resources should be counted.
        Always use two digits, like 01, 02... 11, 12.

          I haven't had any luck with it myself, all the other commands are working quite well and I'm grinding away, but keep having to select my resources manually... any current feedback would be great! :)

      I have found out that you do not need the last line in the macro. The command is:

      /ui action toolbarSlot##

      What you can do instead so that you don't have to use up spaces on your toolbar (even though there is a lot of space on it) you can make the last line read:

      /macro Craft#

      This will, instead of telling the macro to go to the toolbar for the next command, make the macro loop to another macro. This saves those seven slots that Jay'den suggests. I have found that it works just as well, and I am able to use that part of the toolbar for other macro's that I personally make. If you have problems with this, let me know. I would be glad to help out anybody who has trouble getting this to work. Also please post if it does work for you or not. I would like to know if this information actually helps somebody :). I am also trying to figure out a way of eliminating the other toolbar slot part of the macro. I will let you guys know if I succeed...

        the item number chang depending on what tool you are useing and if you are in front of a station or not it is a trial and err thing to get the right number for the item you are looking for

      As I am only at med crafting 3, and going for BE, I craf BECs (which for me are 11, only had to try twice to get it) Because of the short times, I use 3 crafting tools, and three macros. The macros are in 0, 1, and 2, and the tool are in 12, 13, and 14. However, I found out that for me, nextCraftingStage doesn't show, but the game reads it, so I put the resources in with 6 seconds (because of the time it takes them to load, then I wat. When the tool starts getting the numbers, I close the window, and go to me next macro. Also, the looping doesn't work, maybe for the same reasoin as the nextCraftingStage error. Oh, and I rarely get the missing schematic error. All three of these are minor problems, and don't bother me much, but if anyone can tell me how o fix it, therefore speeding up my grinding time, I would greatly appreciate it. Only 13k more med crafting exp to go! Then i'll use a similar thing for grinding to weaponsmith. I haven't used a holo until one told me BH, so I am just trying out different roffessions, once I finish all the crafting skills, except merchant, i'm gonna work on combat. You have really helped, and thanks again.

        I'm using this macro with the 7 crafting stations. the only thing that I find is that when if the macro is starting a crafting station at the same time one of the others are finishing, then the station being opened closes and I get the error "the Crafting session has ended"

        Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there anyway to fix this issue. why should the new session care if another one is finished when it's starting?

          I hope somebody has already answered this for you, but if not the answer is simple. What you need to do is on the second to last line that reads:

          /pause 3;

          Just change the number to 5 or 6 to give the station longer to finish making the item. Hope that helps.

      I have a droid with lvl 6 weaponcrafting and to make the rifle barrel you have to use to advance tool which I am.  I just cant get anything other than bone armor bracer or baisc camp to be selected no matter what number I put in the scematic selection line

      Ok guys these scripts are all fine and dandy but no matter what number I put in the schematic macro I get the option to either craft Bone armor Bracer or a basic tent.  I want to craft Blaster Rifle Barrels. If you can figure this one out you have my thx.

        Make sure you are using the proper crafting tool and perhaps you need to be near a crafting station.  See if that helps ya out.

      This can all be done with 3 macros and several crafting kits.  the method here is almost the same. have one macro that is set to cycle through all the crafting tools you use <i used 10 of them> using the /ui action toolbarSlot## with a pause then have it activate your schematic macro, then have it pause for 5 seconds, then have it select your 3rd macro that will have the /nextCraftingStage commands in it just like written above. an example would be:

      macro 1:
      /selectDraftSchematic01

      macro 2:
      /nextCraftingStage;/nextCraftingStage/nextCraftingStage;/createProtoType practice no item;/createProtoType practice no item

      macro 3:
      /ui action toolbarSlot03;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot04;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot05;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot06;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot07;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot08;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot09;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot10;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot11;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot12;/pause 2;/ui action toolbarSlot00;/pause 5;/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1;/ui action toolbarSlot02

      with this macro setup put macro 1 in toolbarSlot00, put macro 2 in toolbarSlot01, macro 3 in toolbarSlot02, and put a crafting tool in toolbarSlot03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12. you may need to adjust the pauses to fit your needs, but other than that it will work about the same way as the previous macro written above but this will take up much fewer macros to be made.

      P.S. I am a bit of a scatterbrain and the way i tried explaining this may be completely unintelligible, so if ya have any questions about this feel free to stop in on the Tempest server and send me an e-mail and I will try to explain it to ya a bit better. I am either on as Snowstorm or e-LASTIK. Hope this help some in making macros for crafting.
