'For those that dont know, this is the ranger version of 'Whats on Deck' posted by Tiggs. It details what is happening regarding ranger in bullet form for easy access and readability. Use it as the hub of the forums if you want, you will be able to find all the new hot topics, the announcments and what your correspondent is getting up to this week all in one location. The aim of this is for you to get a clear picture of what is happening presently in the ranger community'

Issue Of The Week:

The TC GRM is heading forward at a rapid pace now so look out for further developments over the next week.
What Im Doing: (have been doing since the last WIC)
- Partying, of course (G)
- Working on Ranger 2.0 revamp proposal
- Presenting to the devs ideas for trapping, harvesting, camping, foraging, defensive bonuses and survival enhancments
- Reacted to the new harvesting group bonuses by presenting a new proposal and the options
- Reacted to the new 'new' harvesting group bonuses by highlighting the data gathering by the great TC rangers
- Sat back in with content of the new Master Ranger harvesting bonus increase.
- Discussing issues and topics on the CU boards
- Also on the Corr boards
- Setting up what we need for the GRM on TC
- Sorted out the free BE Mounts for the GRM (Thanks Zaw) (C)
- Sorted out the BE-Uniforms (Mask-scent clothing) for the GRM
- Gathering the resources needed for the GRM
- Planning the new enhancments for the Ranger Lodge on TC in regards to the GRM
- Presenting the Ranger 2.0 proposal here and in the corr boards for review
- Getting ready for a great paddys day pissup

- This thread has perhaps become to the most impacting thread we have had due to how it has developed into a brainstorming thread where everyone on the ranger boards posts their personal thoughts. It allows me to review all the opinions and suggestions and then get a far better picture of what the community wants. Keep it up as i read all the posts and they are very important.

2005!: Yup, 2004 is now officially behind us, beer, parties and sleepless nights have featured heavily for a great many. Now its time to get back to business, we have a ranger revamp coming up, the CURB and quiet possibly alot of bug fixes thanks to the new dev team investment.
What Im Doing: (have been doing since the last WIC)
- Trying to work out the reason anyone (damn phenix) would think to necro the Ranger Hat post (R)
- Trying to convince Waste that rangers can be combat orientated without needing marksman pre-reqs (R/C)
- Trying to get our Ranger Community Guild (Legends of Rangerdom) up and sorted (R/G)
- Recovering from hangover after hangover thanks to
christmas New Years parties (G)
- Setting up Ranger Central: Guides/FAQs/Links thread (R)
- Discussing the stregnths and weakeness of SWG vs WOW (C)
- Putting our case forward for increased harvesting rates (C)
- Getting excited over the recently announced dev team investment thanks by Gordon Walton (Tyrant) (G)
- In awe over how incompetant the English football referees are over not noticing the ball went 2ft over the line in yesturdays Manchester United (scum) vs Tottenham game. (G)

- All the focus details have been archived and when we have a big enough wad of information we will start cooking our proposal, as of now though, the proposal thread is staying as it is, lets add the info in large batches, not trickle it out, we have to info in the focus threads so lets store them and find out what we realy want.

- Keeping this up for another week as its very popular until i make the poll focus where we will finally choose the tier set up we like from the suggestions made.

Ranger Fix: The invalid harvest type bug has now gone, you can still harvest a creature if you first select an illegal oganic type (bones from pikets etc)

- Reminissing over past ranger times (history thread) (R)
