Quest Details: "Luke needs you to deliver the box to someone he knows on Yavin."
Proceed to the waypoint to find a Tribe Member
What contact will say if you do not have the bird cage with you:
This was a simple delivery mission with no spawned opposition. Contact was named "Tribe Member". "An Empty Cage" was placed in my main inventory at mission start and removed upon conversing with contact. Waypoint generated 713m from mission start. Objective was at the assigned wp the first time mission was attempted.
Return to Luke
What Luke will say if you deny the mission:
Badge Received: Rebel Badge of Courage: Rebel Theme Park Completed
Bio Badge Received: ...has earned the Rebel Badge of Courage
I completed this quest in April 2004 on Ahazi server after the Publish 6/ Themepark reset while maintaining Covert Rebel status.

Reward for Quest Completion: 300 Rebel Faction points, 1950 credits, and a schematic for a "Modified Republic Blaster". The schematic requires a master weapon smith to learn.
Badge earned: "Rebel Badge of Courage: REBEL THEMEPARK COMPLETED"
Yep, a "An Empty Cage" is standing proxy for the holocron mentioned in the text. I guess they don't want people getting frustrated when it does not do the regular holocron thing as well as protecting against people trying to pass it off as a real one.
Good Hunting, and may the Force be with you. I hope my experiences with this Themepark have helped someone else out there.
One fun thing that Kelli (Reb WO1) found out while doing this one, is that she can refuse to do the quest (funny response from Luke, gotta read those) after getting the box. Stick it in her backpack, and accept the mission again.
where the heck is luke? can sombody give me a waypoint and planet? this is dumb as heck i wish whoever writes these things up would post the location ive been going thorugh and doing them so i can see these people and say ive talked with 'luke' for instance but i cant find most of them

Luke can be found in the lower level of the temple. The entrance down is next to General Dodonna. You must have completed all the quests leading up to Luke's, including Dodonna's before you are allowed down to the lower level.
i can see his name which is a link to his npc page, i can also see a link to the planet oh and look i can also see links to all the quests that relate to this one before and after
(I left out caps and commas to help you understand it better)
the new reward is a schematic that a master weaponsmith can learn for a Modified Republic Blaster. it only requires one differnet component and its diatium copper or something. it has a Bleeding DOT on it, something like Health with 105 strength for 80s with 75% potency and 9k uses
One thing I do like about the FSCS is that your normal character can supply your FSC all that he/she needs. Money, energy and most importantly..... stims and medpacks :)

put it this way, splinters do absolutley nothing, he was right, a trophy, thats all it does, and secondly Luke is the final mission giver at least for this quest, and you cannot loot a holocron and i believe pre publish 6 luke never gave you a holocron anyway, do you really think that? I bet you thought when Nein Numb sai "save the Millenium Falcon" you figured youd fly it or something...anyways, as i said: Recap: holo/not really a holocron there...splinters/ do nothing except allow you to finish the dark jedi's missions as a splinter is a requiremnet...

The holocron that luke gives you to take to the tribe (or the one you pick up from killing the mawgax) does anyone know if it can be used as a real holocron? If so, wouldn't it be possible to go put it in your bank and do the mission over again to get another? (and another? and another?)
when you give the box to the tribesman he says may teh dark loard wacth over you! has anyone tried killing the tribesman and seeing if the box is loot because perhaps the looted box and the splinters Luke gives you could be combined to produce a holocron??? just a thought
So the only way the splinters can be put together is by a Jedi? Whats the point of giving them out no Jedi is going to put them together for anyone and give them back.
if you examine the splinters...it says they can never be repaired (or something to that effect). My best guess is that these are just trophies, though some say it has something to do with unlocking the FS slot...but no one will ever know...(devilish laugh)
It's apparently a Sith Holocron left behind by Exar Kun, that's why it's making Luke uneasy. That's also why he said he feels that the box belongs to someone named Kyp or Exar. He mentioned Kyp, as in Kyp Durron, because he will later be manipulated by the soul of Exar Kun. As for the tribe in jungle, those are the Massassi, who were a people enslaved by Exar Kun, and that's why they wanted his holocron. And the little bit about Luke saying he wants to come back after the war, that's because 7 years after "Return of the Jedi" he founds his Jedi Academy on Yavin IV.
yeah people are giving up tons of work just cuz these dumb boxes told em to! Some of the best Pvpers on my server went from all combat to all crafting in a week... pretty silly if you ask me.... i think they been smoking to much of that holocronic.
lol, guess I smoked some of it too, went from CH/pistoleer/medic to CH/Architect. But look on the bright side, once you open your FSCS you can do whatever you want with your main character, and you'll have all kinds of xp towards mastering whatever you want, and the best part is you'll also have a potential Jedi.
