i just finished these quests today... my advice is be the first on in the morning right when servers come back up... each tiem i did that i found one of the spawns

Happy to report that I completed the series today and got my ring... wow.. its awesome.. just wish i could pass it to my jedi.

I like that you get to keep the pieces for display too.                                                   

all the quests work now a days. Took some looking lots of looking but i completed them all.

you get a ring at the end which has restore life and 50 charges.

                                                   

Gotta get lucky on the spawns.                                                                             

i have just done it my mate found farmer wen he planeted his flora farm lol sent me waypoints and he was their quest isnt that hard realy i had been lookin before 3hours and no luck very vandom                                                   

This quest is being fixed and revamped as of Publish 9.

The hermit is STILL in the game post Publish 8. I ran in to him JUST Anchorhead (maybe he is a random spawn?) and I spoke to him, but I ignored him. Doh. Now I'm looking for him and I can't find him. God damn.                                      

As of Publish 6, all four of these missions/badges have been removed.                                                                

You get badges?  Is that the whole story?

If not, what is the purpose for these quests?                                                                

Since Publish 6 I am unsure of the hermits existance, Any info on this?

After scouring the surrounding desert there is no life forms in sight.                                      

i have been serching all of your locations posted on here for nearly a week now..  havent found any trace of him.. some other sites said that players keep killing other lairs to get the hermit to spwan quiker.. so thats what i have done.. 1 week of running around with my mount killing of lairs around those all wp i have been able to find.. = NOTHING ! ! ! is this quest dead or something..?? i have serached over and over, killing and wasted bullets and power, bought new weapons.. killing everything in site.. yes even other players hehe =) nothing, zip, nada.. im oplaying on Gorath server..

I found the hermit Christmas Eve morning.  I had previously rescued the Twi'lek slave girl and recovered the data disk from her. Well, I though that I would have to drag and drop the Data Disk onto the Hermit to receive a badge. Not so! Nothing happened. I tried dragging and dropping everything onto him. Nothing worked. Hell, I even tried to drop my holocron on him (gasp!).
Well, at least he is spawning on Intrepid. I had the conversation with him. We'll see what happens next.

I was running missions outside of Mos Espa and stumbled upon the Twi'lek Slave Girl.  Before I saw her I noticed two Strormtroopers standing up on a hill. Being a Rebel, I was going to kill them and gain some faction points when, from out of nowhere, the Slave hailed me. She handed me an Encoded Disk and started getting shot up by the two Stormtroopers. Luckily, I had my mount with me and I sicced him on one of the troopers while I killed the other one. I took out the second one and returned to the slave girl. The "Converse" option did come up in the radial menu but she would say no more. I chose not to kill her out of frustration like I've heard so many other players had done. Instead, I left her there. Now I guess I have to find the elusive Hermit and give him the disk. No other word on Courage or Honor.
By the way, the coordinates I found her at were (2538, 3477) on Tatooine, Intrepid Server.

im on kauri and i success Intellect's and Altruism's badges..
Im looking for the Hermit or the 2 other quests : courage and Honor, i know Honor camp spawned but was buged and Courage not found..

Did someone succes them and do yu have new info ???

                         

Fettskull here again from Intrepid.  ALtruism works. I just got it. The pirates attacked me as I neared the camp. One I killed the all, I detroyed the weakened wall on the prison holding the farmers. The farmers cheered. I spoke to each of them (there are four I believe) and then received my badge. Whoo hoo! I now have 6 badges. Time to look for Honor and hope that both it and the Borvo missions are fixed soon.

My name is Fettskull Dontu and I play on Intrepid.  After about a month of searching (an hour or two a day) I have finally stumbled upon the Intellect Badge. I have never found the Hermit and I'm currently searching for the Badge of Altruism. I will post again when I come upon the ALtruism camp. Apparently they are working, just very random spawns that require patience.            

has anyone at all on any server seen any of the quests but intellect spawn???  I've been looking everyother day for at least three hours, and have had no luck. anyway, please reply, i need some peace of mind.                                      

Okay, so I spent literally hours at each of the given WPs and found none of the Symbol NPCs. I'm wondering if they were moved to a new location or if they got bugged by a patch a la the Borvo quests.  If anyone has any new information, please post. Thank you.                         

Well i was doing a quest out of the cantina of Mos espa and this would be the second time trying it(the first time got kill..second day playing) I had just got the twi'lek slave and started to head back. When I saw 2 stormtroopers and as i got close a female Twi'lek NPC run up and started an converstion with me automaticly....and asked me if i could take the disc or something...It all happened so fast it is hard to remember....So i took the disc ...she pulls out a carbin and tell me to run as she starts to attack the 2 stormtroopers...they killer in a few shots. I had ran a short way than stoped to only see her die and relized that I was IMP and ran tward the to troops to give the disc but they just vanished before i got there?  -Confused i want back to the cantina and told my friend what just had happen to me and a stranger over heard the story I was telling and knew it was a twi'lek girl before i had said anything, He told me that it had something to do with the badge of courage?

So any help would be nice.

yep. went out there and there was no-one around... except a small-ish group of tuskens and a few bocatts. no hermits. has he perhaps migrated?                                                   

On the Chilastra server the spawns are currently being camped by a PA.

Yeah.
