As of Publish 6, all four of these missions/badges have been removed. It has been revamped and brought back as of Publish 9

There is a Rodian hermit. Talk to him and he will talk about honor and courage and ask you to bring him proof of your honorable behaviour. He promises to reward you with a badge. There are supposedly four parts to completing this quest.

If you want to start these series of quests, you must first talk to the hermit located at 10 -218 on Tatooine, at the bottom of the squill cave. The squill cave has been beefed up since last time. There are a lot more MOBs with more protection and HAM. Bring a friend if you dont want to burst run from room to room.

The hermit talks about how we live in some dark times with the Empire ruling the galaxy.

The Hermit says, "Pirates and criminals travel freely. The Old Republic has been shattered. The Jedi have been hunted to all but extinction. Over all of this hangs the shadow of the Empire."

You have 2 responses. One makes you stand up for the Empire, the other makes you agrees with the old man. If you support the Empire (not faction wise) he's done talking with you. If you agree with him, he talks about how the world is in need of heros to bring light to this darkened time. He says that if your going to be a true hero you must bear the mark of intellect, courage, honor, and altruism. But, before you go out looking for these marks, he has a small quest for you.

After agreeing with the hermit he says, "Good. First, a small task for you to prove yourself worthy of my challenge.. worthy of becomming a hero. Within the depths of this cave, there lies an item which has been stolen from my home by the vile creatures that live here. I need it to continue my studies. It is the skull of a squill. Find it, return to me and I will present to you the ways in which you can become the Hero of Tatooine."

You must go to the deepest part of the cave and retrieve a squill's skull stuck in a lair (-140 -269).

After you hand over the squill skull (that is non-tradable/non-dropable) he gives you hints on where to find each one of these quests. You must complete all the quests before you will receive the Hero of Tatooine badge.

The Hermit then wishes you well.
