Found the pirates at 5727 -5483.  Just a little south of the loop formed by the other waypoints.

saw him yesterday on Naritus at waypoint 5000 -4200. Wasn't able to get an exact w/p because they were located in a mass of aggro's and had to run. but this is very close to exact.

i have a question.  a friend of mine found the pirate leader, talked to him. but when he got to the house, the ranchers wife refused to talk to him. kept saying she was having problems with the priates, come back later. now, we think someone bugged it, because the same guy bugged the pirate leader when we first found him. but anyways, how do we fix this problem. he tried logging out for a minute, and that didnt work. someone help him. thanks.

I found the pirate on August 31.  I forgot about the knockdown/dizzy bug and since I wasn't buffed, I panicked and started doing KD/dizzy hits. Yep, after he turned white, he couldn't talk to me, no converse option available. However, I logged out of the game for a few minutes and logged back in and killed the new pirate (small, not leader) spawns. Then I saw a new, white pirate leader that was different from the first one, and I conversed with him and finished the quest. I don't know if I got lucky or if this will help anyone else who KD/dizzy hits him. Also, I don't think the new white pirate showed up on radar, I just happened to see him-he probably shows up on overhead.

I was just told that the Pirate leader only spawns roughly 8 times, per day, and in the same area. Is there any truth behind this?                                                   

Do they show up on the radar?  I'm having the worst time finding them. I bet ive set like a record for wasting time on the hero quests and not getting a badge

just got the mark, only 1 pirate leader alone, 10k HAM, found him around the mark of altruism area..

He was 3 red dots on radar. I messed up mission by saying "nice house" the day before. Let the wife know the pirates are trying to escape.

I also found Pirate Leader by himself on my way home from Sennex cave after completing the Farmers badge mission. I put the word out and waited for the fortunate one to come along. When he got there we both took on Pirate Leader (mind you the Leader was by himself) and the Leader didn't give up! I guess it only works when the pirate leader has his two cronnies with him. For the record I spotted the Pirate Leader solo just North of Mos Brakas. As a matter of fact Mos Brakas parking gargage among other structures appeared on my overhead radar at the spawn site. Might be bunk spawn, or just a glitch (poor guy travelled all that way saw the Leader and then *POOF*)

god this is sooooo hard.  Ive been searching for the pirates for 2 days now and still nothing. Ive been searching only the wp listed, r ther any other places theyve been. i need help.

I found 3 pirate leaders but no pirates. All were white and wouldn't converse although they had converse sign above their heads. What gives?                                                   

oh my... i found the pirate leader, talked with him, went to the house, watched the pirates... ...for a while! went up and talked with the wife, told her her house was nicely decorated, and *BAM* a bomb went off, the pirates escaped and the quest failed...

Don't do that mistake!                         

Just wanted to let everyone know that I found the Pirate Leader by accident right outside Mos Eisley on the Ahazi server.  I was able to get my badge easily and I didn't have to fight the pirate leader. After I killed the pirates I simply walked up to the leader and conversed with him. The waypoint was at 2587 -5134, just 1k from Mos Eisley!            

I found these guys Sat night on Tempest at around 9:30 EST at 4531, -3910. Also FYI, the pirate's sidekicks will respawn every couple of minutes and keep attacking you, so kill them quick, talk to the leader and leave unless you want to keep killing pirates...

I found this guy and got the badge before I talked to the Hermit, as did my friend with me.  We didn't even know he was part of the quest until later.
