I talked to Ind who told me to talk to Kavas who told me I haven't a good enough reputation or something like that.  What's up with that? Is it faction related? How do I go about correcting this so I can do these missions?

Ind No. 3)-Escort Dr. Kaum to the Lucky Despot.  He is an off-world scientist hired by Jabba, who doesn't know any of Jabba's thugs. You tell Dr. Kaum to come have "drinks" with Jabba, then Ind says they will take *good* care of him when he arrives.
Reward-3000 credits, Valarian faction, and a mystical glowing orb (looks like a force crystal, except it glows)

Ind No. 4)-Kill a murderer on the loose.
Reward-5000 credits and Valarian faction.

Ind No. 5)-Tainted Water...Jabba's men have tainted the water supply. Find the one's responsible and bring back whatever they are putting in the water.
Reward-7000 credits and Valarian faction

Ind No. 6)-Steal an expensive egg, which is the petrified avian egg, from Jabba's delivery guy.
Reward-8000 credits and Valarian faction.

Now you go see Lady Valarian.

Reward is 1000 credits and Valarian faction.  The npc you escort back to the Lucky Despot would not enter Mos Eisley, but I was still able to complete it with out him.                                                   

Ind is found in the Lucky Despot.
