By: kenath 3 posts Score: Decent [3.00] | On the 1st mission (Anakin's helmet):
There are 4 jawa about 1.2km out of town. If you have a mount, scout round them and draw off the one ON the waypoint.
In my run through he was an engineer, unarmed.
Kill him. Mission complete. 1500 cr (-100 Jawa, +50 tusken)
Go to town, collect your reward. Count your wages and wear a daft hat to the cantina.
On the 2nd mission:
The Rodian, Deeng, is about 1.2k away from town (conveniently for me, just next to my shop). Load up with stims, get a big gun.
He MIGHT have spawned in a depression in the ground. Use this. Get close without him seeing you, go prone, use your best special attacks.
Kill him. Mission complete.
1800cr (-160 thug, + 80 town)
On the 3rd mission:
Scout round and identify Sont Toipo. He's the aqualish on the end of the line...
Move round to a position where he's the closest target, keep out of site, get to your best range. If terrain allows you might still be out of his line of site.
Kill him. Mission complete. 1500cr AND a droid brain. (-160 thug faction, + 80 townsperson)
On the 4th mission:
Get Krin Vel. Head out about 1.5km.
Again, scout round, find the marksman, draw him off. There was a small cluster of friendly NPC's nearby. Drew him there, let them do the heavy work. Raah!
Run back to Krin and then a long walk back to town. 1.5km. Avoiding red mobs. Oh if ONLY you could go 2-up on a mount.
*** 300m from town my dial up went! ***
OK, back in. 700m out of town :( BUt the red mob is ignoring us and Krin is still there. Not much of a conversationalist, but, hey...
RIght, run last 700m, stopping to wait for Krin. A lot. Would it kill the devs to let us be able to tell an NPC to RUN?? ;)
On returning to Kitster there was a desert squill right beside him. NOT happy. OTOH, there was a nice, keen nu player nearby who just could't resist shooting at the beasty...
2500cr. (I tipped the new guy. Hey, he's the one that took all the damage!)
