Quest Details: "Reelo Baruk needs you to find the Tusken Raider Leader who has been harrassing Jabba's friends and kill him."
You say, "Tuskens? What do you mean?"
You say, "Deal, I'll do it."
Accept the mission and follow the waypoint. You either should be very skilled or have a bunch of friends along for this. There are several tuskens, as well as a tusken leader, at the waypoint, and they are pretty tough to kill. This was a destroy mission. Target 'Tusken Leader' (5400 HAM) was guarded by 1 Tusken Raider (4500 HAM). The waypoint generated 1077m from mission start & objective was at assigned wp the first time mission was attempted.
I started the Jabba Theme Park last night (getting rid of -5000 Jabba faction is no fun at all :() and didn't have any troubles at all... Try it again after the servers restart.
For anyone who needs to get Reelo to talk to you, (other then saying "You don't have the proper standing to associate with me"), simply go to the nearest town, find a mission terminal, and look for missions with Valarians camps as the objective. They usualy go for around 1.6k-1.7k
Reelo did not talk to me untill I got my faction standing with Jabba up past 0.
Reelo replies: "You know, Sand People? They wear those dirty robes and carry spiked clubs? Heads wrapped in bandages? But just take care of the leader and we'll call it done. Deal?"
You reply: "Deal, I'll do it."
Reelo replies: "Just take care of the leader and I'll take care of ya."
Upon mission completion, Reelo: "I'm impressed. Come back later and I'll find some more work for you. Oh, but here, take this for your help."
I started the Jabba theme quest with -190 (or was it -90?) Hutt Faction, and positive Jabba faction. My Borvo is slightly negative. After seeing how Lady Val is, I was, ugh, no way! I should have left Borvo alone. Oh well. The Lady should have been taken out first.
Anyway, these Tuskens are pretty tough, so if you're melee, watch out. I only had two Tuskens, and the first one killed me. Why? I was stupid and forgot to put my armour back on. :D I wondered why I fell so quickly. And closest non-PA city is Wayfar. Good thing there's a PA city near Jabba's Palace on my server.
Best way to take them out, was to get within 64m of the closest one, and have him go after you. Makes it much easier than taking on both at the same time. I only had two Tuskens, thus pulling one (the non-waypoint one) was simple enough - he was halfdead before he killed me earlier.
Faction wise, if you're worried about that, is you will lose 190 Tusken, but gain points for Jawa and Alkhara at 95 each - per Tusken. Gained about 1971 2hs experience. Don't think I used my stun-baton at the time.
Still trying to figure out how to raise Hutt faction.
As of Publish 6 all Theme parks have been re-done, Not the missions just the pay out. Jabba's gives better money now and some very intresting loot. Go talk to 8-LOM in the main entrance to restart your missions.
I had the same problem. You must raise your standing with Jabba. I had -3000 initially so it was hard. You must kill lots of valarian faction individuals. You can find many in the great plains to the south of Bestine. Bear in mind you loose about double of Valarian fp as u gain jabba's fp. You'll end up being hostile to valarian faction.
BTW, I think terminal missions by Bib Fortuna are bugged. They make u kill Jabba swooper camps or whatever, which is weird being Jabba the client, so you end up loosing Jabba's fp. If you want missions do those where u must destroy valarian swooper camps (press details on mission before accepting).
No the Bid fortuna terminal missions are not bugged. In the Star Wars saga, one of the things that most people don't know is that even though Bid fortuna is Jabba's "loyal right-hand man", he actually hates Jabba and has been trying to overthrow him for years. Those termial missions from him that you can take are a trick, he is trying to pay outsiders to kill off as many of Jabba's men as possible by telling then that if you kill this person, Jabba will favor you more.
When i try to talk to reelo, it says i dont have the propper standing to deel with him, perhaps i should be carefull who i have associations with... what do i have to do?
I have the same problem.
I have Jabba factions -2900, but if i make same quest for Jabba in the nearest town i go down instead to go up in Jabba faction. Why?
By the way, if you don't kill the mission target and someone else does(in your group, i.e. I bring friends to come kill the Tuskens on this mission and we're in a group then he kills the target), does it still count as completing the mission? I want to know before I try it.
You get tons of goodies by doing Jabba missions. you get weapons, jewlelry clothes and things like that. No badges though :( But its still fun and its cool because you get full access to jabba's palace once you've finihsed allof your mission for entire palace
I did this solo with one death. Using a Scout Blaster :)(pistols 3). Cloned in Wayfar.
My strategy was hmmm 2 red cons, immediately i aggroed the non leader and ran him away. Then I crept up on the leader got him down to 30% health and died. Used Mask Scent, prone, threaten shot, body shot2 (lots). Ran back from Wayfar to find his health still low and finished him off. Since I only needed to kill the leader, I just healed up and legged it back to Jabba's pad to get the next mission from the green dude.
I am Kahlesh Keth
Marksman 2,3,4,3.
Scout 4,2,3,2.
this is definently soloable.
There were two red cons, one the leader, and the other some other guy. Kill the other guy. then kill all the blues with like headshot or something. then kill the boss.
The boss is hard to hit and he hits real hard, but he has very low life.
I used ubesse chest, and legs with a vibro blade and dl20a rifle, and scout pistol. Working on specilization for all weapons.
When you post that this mission is soloable, please post your character's info. We all know that this mission would likely be soloable by a master bounty hunter, or a master commando, but some of us are neither and it doesn't help us much when you just say this mission is "soloable" and give no context to put that statement in.
Soloable by a Novice CH (2100) / Novice Pistoleer (0020) with a fully grown Cowardly Gurreck (CL15 HAM 3400) last night.
Admittedly it was close and my pet was incap'd with bleeding, but it IS definitely possible :)
Out of the first two sets of missions to get into Jabba's palace and out of the entrance, I think this was the hardest.
